Toyota Alternator for Civic 2000 LXI?

pwede ba yung Toyota alternator para sa Civic 2000 LXI? nagtanong kasi ako sa isang alternator shop kung magkano ang 90 amperes na alternator ang sabi niya 4,500 daw at Toyota alternator daw ang ikakabit, talaga daw toyota ang ikinakabit sa katulad ng sasakyan ko.

btw kaya gusto kong palitan ng 90 amperes kasi japan surplus na 70 amp yung current alternator ko at parang mahinang kumarga, pag naka on aircon hihina at lalakas, nagbabago ang voltage parang nag-aagawan sa kuryente tapos minsan hirap din magstart. Tried replacing a new battery (Amaron) still ganon pa din.

uubra kung sa uubra. alternator naman yan eh. basta may magpaikot sa shaft for it to make electricity pupwede.

yun nga lang, fabrication ng brackets gagawin plus some conversion of sockets.

wouldnt do it if i were in your shoes though.

70 amp seems ok for stock. hindi kaya on-and-off ang alternator mo? patingin mo kaya ang alternator sa nakaka-alam at baka madali lang ang solusyon..
baka naman hindi ang alternator ang prublema mo..? baka yung aircon blower mismo or connections nito, ang may prublema..

kung gusto mo talagang mag 90 amp, ay magtanung ka sa civic clubs kung papano..

I have a civic esi and is still using the original alternator with no problems, Regular maintenance lang ng alternator.
Do you have other additional electrical equipments installed?

I'm curious as to what sort of regular maintenance do you do on the alternator?

Yeah. If it works, you leave it alone. If it does not or if it makes funny noises, you either replace it or have it repaired. There's technically nothing to maintain.

I had to ask because there's probably something he knows that we don't.

Basta ba oobra, puwede na yan. Yung Accord ko dati, bumigay yung radiator fan motor tapos sabi ng mekaniko ko, hanapan namin ng spare motor sa stock nya. May nakita sya from a Toyota car pero same yung size at terminals. I checked the manufacturer and both motors (Honda and Toyota) were made by Denso.

ung esi ko dati nasira ung condenser ng AC pinalitan namin ng condenser ng toyota FX mas malamig siya,,kasi mas malaki mahaba ..
