I bought a 97 City EXi last year 'coz my other car is a gas-guzzler. Heto ang walang-kamatayang tanong: what is the real engine displacement of the 97 City EXi?

FYI: my mechanic told me it's a 1300 kasi yung engine # daw starts with PHZ13... a Honda dealer told me it's a 1500... other threads are confusing, hindi consistent ang mga sagot.
my City's kpl is only 9-10, it has PS, front power windows, all-door power locks.

In addition, I can spot some 97 City with 1.5EXi badge on their rears. Mine is only EXi kasi na-repaint na kaya no way to determine if orig yung badge. The former owner is already in the US (no contact details).

    Thanks for your help...

hmm... as far as i know, most box shape honda citys used the ph15 engine (with a couple exceptions, like PGM-Fi series), like the civic LXi models.

since yours is a 1st generation city, it could well have an engine that's similar to the 94-95 civic hatchbacks (1200cc) pero i'm not so sure hondaphil came out with a city with an engine like that.

SX8 stands for the Honda City 3rd Generation.

Nasa CR po ng City ko ay 1300cc. How about my Maxima... nasa CR dn nito ay 1600cc? Alam naman natin na ang CA20S engine ng Maxima ay 2000cc ang displacement.

    Back to my query... thanks!

ngek, 1600 nasa cr ng maxima mo! e akin 2000cc, pero "light" nalang not medium....

anyways, ung 1st gen city(sa pinas ang usapan ha!) ung unang batch na dumating as i know, all 1300, front power windows, matic... later in its life, bago magkaroon nung "ipis" look, nagkaroon ng 1.5EXi, d15b vtec makina as the top model(type Z)
