With only 20tkms our civic stalled in San Juan area a couple of weeks ago.

Don't get me wrong, I love this car. I love this more than my 1.8 corolla. Its really a fun car to drive but for it to stall this early is no joke. Buti nalang hindi sa province nangyari and good thing, my insurance handled the towing remarkably.

The culprit is a damaged idler belt bearing. Honda Pasig handled the job well (I was actually surprised that they did a good job in fixing the problem, from the acceptance of the vehicle up to release, very systematic).

I heard of some stories of this model stalling due to the same problem so if you own one, might as well have the part checked.

We did not bring it to casa after the warranty - to be honest. But we also do it to our other vehicles and all of them run well without any issues.

Its really a minor fix specially since the part is not that expensive (the pms is more expensive), but the thought of it stalling in an area where help slim is scary.

Again if you own a similar vehicle...have the part checked just to be sure.
