I initially planned to get the 1.3 A/T.

Pero since 50thou lang ang difference between 1.3 and 1.5, im having 2nd thoughts. Eto daw yung differences between the two, according to my SA:

1) wheels
2) bumper
3) side skirting
4) PADDLE SHIFT

parang sulit na sulit yung 50thou!!!

yep, nagaaccept na sila ng reservations. sabi eh baka late september to early october pa lalabas.

Those are the same prices that were given to me.

I think kaya malapit na sa price ng 1.5 yung 1.3 is same ung safety & security features nya except walang security alarm yung 1.3 but it has airbags, abs, ebd and the other safety & security features that the 1.5 has.

pero parang ang laki ng tinaas ng price...halos magpang abot na yung jazz 1.5V CVT (* 797k) & civic 1.8V M/T (* 810k) & Mazda 3 1.6S A/T (* 819k)...yung new jazz 1.3V CVT almost 50k ang tinaas from the latter...

i'm plannin' to buy also pero pinagiisipan pa...

Finally been through the show a few hours ago. The Honda booth are the most crowded based on my observation just because of their new model which is the 2008 Honda Jazz :-)

The Jazz or Fit in the USA will be sold by end of september based on the SA present. For those who wants to see what the P50K difference would bring, here are the major difference(s) between the Jazz 1.3 5AT and 1.5 5AT. You may see the pictures at j0eycar0.multiply.com.

BOTH JAZZs HAVE = 5 speed AT with shiftlock and grade logic, ABS w/ EBD+BA, drive by wire throttle system, EPS, dual SRS airbags, tilt & telescopic steering, Manual AC 4-speed blower, single CD/MP3 w/ Aux In + 4 speakers, power windows/side mirrors/door locks, tach, fuel, speedo, led temperature, fuel consumption meter (instant & avg), range computer, trip meter A & B, moquette seats, reclining ULTRA seats, dual glovebox, 10 cupholders, power socket, 4 grab rails, coin & card holder, body color door handle, 3-pt ELR x 4 + 1 lap belt, wave key, immobilizer, keyless entry, high mount stop lamp (non-led) and pinch free power window (driver side).

1.3 5AT only = mud guards, fender mounted side turn lamp, black & dark blue interior color, sun visor assistant w/ vanity mirror and lid, black mesh grille and 100 ps i-VTEC 16V all-aluminum engine with iridium sparkplugs (4 only) and curb weight of 1080 kgs.

1.5 5AT only = no mud guards, door mirror integrated side turn lamp, all-black interior color, sun visor for both driver and assistant w/ vanity mirror and lid, gun metal mesh with satin plating grille, 120 ps i-VTEC 16V all-aluminum engine with iridium sparkplugs (4) and curb weight of 1110 kgs plus seat height adjuster, rear bumber garnish, side sill garnish, tail pipe finisher and lastly a security alarm !

Comparing the 1.3 Jazz 5MT with the all-new Suzuki Swift 1.5 5MT, the swift wins for me. The front seats are more comfortable, the shifter is 1st class and the view upfront is better because you sit higher due to the lower dashboard and you have less obstructions. The best part is the price is just P8K more than the Jazz at P715K and theres a new sky blue color now available! With a better power to weight ratio, the Swift feels quicker on the road.

The Jazz 1.3 5MT is priced at P707K and can easily get 20KPL at any given day. If practicality and reliability and fun to drive is one's priority, the Jazz gets wins hands down.

i see...same pa din kaya ang FC? the FC is what i really want...yung 1.3 CVT kasi umabot ng 17km/L e hehehe
