December 16th, 2009 01:08 PM #12kahit naman before ondoy, matagal talaga parts delivery ng honda talaga. my parts took two weeks to be delivered last year. so matagal na talaga plus ondoy, matagal talaga. i pity those who are waiting for parts, mukhang di pa maayos sasakyan nila by christmas kung december 22 pa dating.
anyway nung bumili ako ng kotse, nagbayad ako ng umaga and nakapag pullout sila ng unit sa plant right after lunch. mabilis nga talaga sila pag bilbili ka. bulok naman ang after sales service.

December 16th, 2009 04:59 PM #13DX200, you're not alone. Our crv is still with honda QC as of today (since Sept. 29). Flooded up to flooring. First it was the airbag sensor that needed replacement. Now it's the ECU which needs replacement. I guess the long queue at the dealership is due to unavailability of parts. btw, our unit was bought from Honda QC.

I find it odd na kelangan ang ECU replacement for a car na flooring lang ang inabot. Ganon na ba kababa ang ECU ng CRV?

December 16th, 2009 07:11 PM #16Honda Philippines should do something about this. 3 months after Ondoy ang haba pa din pila sa mga casa. Pag brand new units sigurado kaya nila mgship within few weeks pero mga pyesa months binibilang, to think na napakalaki ng demand ngayon. tsk! tsk! tsk!

December 16th, 2009 09:17 PM #17parang kaibigan yan. ang tunay na kaibigan nakikilala sa panahon ng pangangailangan. mukhang ang honda ay hindi tunay na kaibigan based sa dami ng naghihintay ng mga piyesa nila. para kasing walang effort on their part to accelerate things. di naman libre ang mga piyesa, kaya in the end kita pa rin sila.

I did not bring my Honda City 2004 Vtec to my regular casa HCQC.
why?
1. The casa was flooded with cars already.
2. Expected na mahal singil at mabagal service duon.
3. Ondoy-September 26. The insurance covered only up to July. Kasalanan ko tamad.
so I went for a freelance (na tiwala kami) mechanic. ang galing galing niya kasi enthusiast talaga siya at hindi presyo-taga.
Result - Changed dashboard panel (erratic. The original can still be used but you'd have to guess your speed), rehabilitated electricals, cleaned aircon, repaired alternator bearing, flushed engine, flushed transmission, washed inside, outside, under and allover, replaced the stereo head unit and the car alarm. total cost = 42K. Up and running after 2 weeks smelling like a new car.
Only time it went to Honda for checkup error in EPS and reset/reprogram of CVT was in Honda Alabang. Cost P508 petot!!!!
The ECU? worked flawlessly since Ondoy. The car was submerged for around 5 1/2 feet for 12 hours. Perhaps a testimony on Honda quality?Last edited by OldSchoolHack; December 18th, 2009 at 04:56 AM.
