    pwede ba nilang dayain ang digital odo reading sa mga nagbebenta ng pre- owned cars? pano natin malalaman na nadaya? tnx

    It's very possible. But doing so requires tools and the know-how.

    If the changes were done using a tool available on most casas (plugged in through the OBDII/DLC connector), then there will be no trace of it ever happening, unless if it was documented like when the speedo/odo gauge was replaced due to a technical problem. But if the modification was done by replacing the flash memory located inside the speedo/odo gauge assembly, there might be symptoms such as broken seals/locks, solder residue, etc.

    tnx for the reply, pinapayagan ba ng casa na i reset or baguhin ang digital odo reading? im planning kasi to buy na pre owned car, digital na yung odometer,7yrs na pero nasa 42k ang reading

    san ni se service yung sasakyan?? check mo CASA record at least for the first 3 years.. makikita mo kung ni alter or hindi..
