95' ESI fuel consumption

hi ask ko lang po kung normal sa 95' ESI M/T yung full tank around 1500 for 9 days going work lang mga around 22kms back and forth that's from cainta to ortigas lang po... or may sira yung gauge ko kasi nagpa-fluctuate din siya eh...

22km x 9 days = 198km per tank.

A little high but within reason that the fuel consumption is normal especially if your route is traffic during the time you are driving (or full of intersections/humps). I would be expecting 250km per full tank though.

normal. i drive 20kms/day din naman, back and forth mother ignacia to fairview and my full tanks last 7 days lang (14 trips). i have a LXi for my DD right now, basically the same engine as yours, but automatic.

My fuel gauge pin goes up and down too occassionaly while driving uphill/on steeps o kaya naman on some cornerings,... but I guess it's normal (ewan ko lang?) kasi nabalik din siya sa previous normal reading pag straight line cruising na ulit...

It happens on my eg sedan (same car as yours, though with a different engine) and my previous car, which is a lancer itlog glxi...

Re fuel consumption, I can't really say kasi magkaiba tayo ng engine and the matter is subjective to driving habits, car condition, gas etc..

salamat po... ang akala ko po kasi mas matipid siya sa gas... yung dati ko kasing gamit yung revo j 2.0 yung makina almost the same lang ang consumption niya... akala ko mas matipid siya dahil 1.5 and sedan siya... thanks hehe
