If I didn't do a double-take, I would've thought it was an Acura TL, especially the front.

yeah, sa singapore to... size is almost similar to our current model
now i get it, this same design is also currently used in japan.
don't know why it's called euro if it is also intended for use in japan

Look again, it uses a conventional wiper layout like our Accord and many other cars because it doesn't have the huge MPV-like winshelid that the new Civic has.

The JDM Accord/Accord-Euro was launched in 2003(Acura version was launched in 2004).
Its platform is close to the USDM/ASEAN Accord but a bit smaller.
In the US its sold as the Acura TSX(2004 model shown).

This is also the Accord sold in Japan.

In general the RP(ASEAN) mid-size sedan market prefers slightly larger more luxurious cars(Executive sedans) this is why Honda based the ASEAN Accord on the larger "family car" oriented USDM Accord, of course the ASEAN version was given a more luxurious look.
The younger crowd prefers the smaller sportier Accord-Euro.

gaya ng sabi sa taas, it's the euro accord, sold as Acura TSX in the US. looks good and maganda interior, pero 4banger lang, medyo underpowered compared to V6 accords.

The USDM Acura TSX is only offered with a 205hp (K24A2) 2.4 liter i-VTEC engine, but this is not the most powerful version of the smaller "JDM Accord/Accord-Euro". Performance of the Acura TSX is not that bad because its a bit lighter and a more agile than the USDM/ASEAN Accord V6.
    0-100 km/h acceleration takes around 7.3 sec(6-speed M/T), top speed is 215 km/h.

The most powerful variant of the smaller "JDM Accord/Accord-Euro" is the Euro-R, it may not have a V6 but instead its offered with a lighter high output K20A DOHC 2.0 liter engine producing 217hp(220PS), not bad considering that this car only weighs 1390 kg, our 240hp Accord V6 has a curb weight of 1545kg!

    0-100km/h in under 7 sec.

On the brighter side, our Accord is sold as a premium sedan in Japan.
Its positioned above the JDM Accord(aka Accord-Euro) and below the Legend(Acura RL).

sa australia, offered both Accord and Accord Euro, though only the Accord gets the choice of either 2.4L 4-cyl or the 3.0L V6 engines. the Euro gets only the 2.4L 4-cyl. pero mas mahal ang Accord Euro kesa sa Accord.

    Accord Euro

    Accord

Thats because the large Accord sedan they get is the Thai built ASEAN version. The Accord-Euro is from Japan, its more expensive to import I guess.
Same with us, if they send us the Japanese Accord(Accord-Euro) it will also cost more than the equivalent ASEAN Accord we are getting now.

Honga. My eyes are failing me.
By the way, will the butt-lifted Accord still make it here?
