On the brighter side, our Accord is sold as a premium sedan in Japan.
Its positioned above the JDM Accord(aka Accord-Euro) and below the Legend(Acura RL).

    2006 Honda Inspire

    Damn,

The Inspire is still better than its Thai/US clone (even after this facelift).

Oh and here's another tidbit of info....

In the Honda Inspire, you're only option is a 3.0 liter engine. But here's the thing.....

This one comes with the "cylinder shut-off" technology (parang sa mga Chrysler 300C na top-of-the-line).

Aside from that, the J30A engine here is an "i-VTEC" & it produces around 10-20 extra horses compared to its normal VTEC counterpart.

For those people who are power-hungry for more savage performance (and don't give damn about fuel economy), then you may just be in luck because Honda is planning to release an i-VTEC version of its J35A engine.

    Ahh.......black-on-black.....

Sigh.....it's just a dream all along.

I doubt that we'll ever get Piano black interior with an exterior black on a top-of-the-line trim.

Well, halos pareho ng PHDM release na Accord.

Kaso lang, the Inspire uses an I-VTEC engine na kayang i-disable yung tatlong cylinders (under "ECO MODE") and reactivate all six cylinders once you rev up (siguro after 4600 rpm).

Also, mas maganda ang interior options ng Inspire.

sa australia, offered both Accord and Accord Euro, though only the Accord gets the choice of either 2.4L 4-cyl or the 3.0L V6 engines. the Euro gets only the 2.4L 4-cyl. pero mas mahal ang Accord Euro kesa sa Accord.

    Accord Euro

Thats because the large Accord sedan they get is the Thai built ASEAN version. The Accord-Euro is from Japan, its more expensive to import I guess.
Same with us, if they send us the Japanese Accord(Accord-Euro) it will also cost more than the equivalent ASEAN Accord we are getting now.

    Where's the pic?

I'm curious how the instrument panel of the next gen Accord would look like. Sa Civic digital na yung speedo, sa Accord kaya pati tach na? Two-tier din kaya?

Sometimes it doesn't show, here's the same image but from a different site.

Take note, this is just a CG artist's rendering based on Honda's Sports 4 Concept and 8th gen Honda Civic.

Hmm....the headlamps look almost exactly like the ones in the FD Civic (except these have sharper lines) and grille has some similarties with the compact sibling.

But the wheels/rims are exactly the same as of the concept model.

Thats because its a chop was based on the photo of the Honda Sports 4 Concept(they edited the photo of the Honda Sports 4 Concept).

An artist made this, cut and paste from different Honda photos. The Actual Accord may look different...

Some say the Honda Sports 4 Concept gives a hint of the next Accord-Euro aka JDM Accord, but its not clear yet if they(the Accord-Euro/JDM Accord) will be merged with the USDM/ASEAN Accord because the new Civic sedan is nearly the same size as the Accord-Euro/JDM Accord(its shorter but has a slightly longer wheelbase and nearly the same width.)
I guess we'll have to wait and see...

OMG if its gonna be like this then I will wait for it rather than buy a 2007 Camry. For sure hindi patatalo ang Honda sa 268 HP ng ng Camry, hoping that the next accord will pump out 280 ponies.
