Fabricated PS hose for a Nissan Sentra was only Php800 sa Rizal avenue. I don't mind the additional noise.
Near LRT R.Papa station. You can take the LRT na lang. Just pack the leaking hose properly para walang tagas.

March 5th, 2012 05:24 PM #12Hi rynasc,
I used to have the same problem as yours. My Gen2 CRV got a leak sa high pressure power steering hose pero walang ingay during na nag leak. I have to replace the hose immediately dahil malakas ang leak. May bula na ang power steering fluid tank. every morning kailangan ko pang pihitin manubela left and right until mawala bula at the same time yung sound (some times sound humihina lang pero hindi mawawala). Sobrang hassle and pain in the head. I am still looking for other options para makamura at ma solve ang problem. In case meron kang makita na kayang magawaan ng lunas ang ganitong problem please let us know. IF non then I guess I will have to settle sa genuine honda parts na 12K ang price.
Hope this helps!
Anybody can advise if masama patagalin ang maingay ng power steering dahil sa fabricated na high pressure hose hose? I mean while saving for a genuine honda part?
Thanks,
Ronald

From what I remember a long time ago, Meron din brand ng mga hose, parang good year yata magandang brand, pars walang ingay aside from same diameter etc

Just bleed the system para tahimik. Even a 12k hose will make noises if you dont bleed it.

Good year, bridgestone, etc ang gamit ng hose shops. Pang high pressure applications unlike the flimsy original hose.

June 4th, 2012 04:38 PM #20Hi soyuz1234! good to hear na ok ang power steering system mo. IF you don't mind pwede mo ba update forum after 1 week or 2 weeks kasi I also did the same sa CRV Gen2 ko. Nakipag sapalaran din ako sa murang replacement. First few days ay no problem at tahimik ang power steering system. After a week or 2 nag start na siyang mag ingay (eeeennnngggg) eveytime i-turn ko ang steering wheel. If you continue experiencing quiet power steering system ng matagal sa 2 weeks hingi ako ng request syo kung saan mo nabili ang hose mo.
Thanks.
Ronald
