need help with tire size

hi...are there any tires out there measuring 225/50/18?
i'm having trouble figuring out what kind of tires to put on my 2004 honda accord

mron po 235/50/r18 but i dont think i will fit in an accord pag 18" na rims sa acoord ang mag kakasya lng po dun ay mga 40 series tyres ung mga 225-235/40/r18!

labas na kasi sa wheel well yung 235...naka mille miglia 18 inch mags ako..yung tires ko ngayon 225/45/18 pero parang undersized sa width ng rims

Stick with 225/45R18 tires, diameter is 26 inches(25.97 in).
its advisable to keep the diameter of your tires close to the stock tire's diameter.

Here are the stock tires of the Accord for comparison:
205/65R15(25.5 in)
205/60R16(25.7 in)

Here are the diameters of the following 18 inch tires for comparison:
225/40R18 (25.09 in) smaller than stock...
225/45R18 (25.97 in)
225/50R18 (26.86 in) diameter is over an inch more than both 15 inch and 16 inch stock Accord tires, too big.

well for me mas ok na ung medyo lbas ung tires sa wheel well ksi safety rin ito sa rims mo pag makitid ksi msyado ung tires mo like in my optra nka 18" na league ako with 225/40 tires at nkakatakot syang isampa sa mga guter ksi lbas na lbas ung labe nung rims ko ksi msyado nga mkitid ung goma ko eh wla nmn ako mgagawa ksi pag nag 235/40 ako nde nko mkaka turn ng sagad so ingat nlng sa pag sampa sa mga guters and sidewalks

Whats the width of your 18 inch rims?

here's an Acura TL A-Spec(based on the USDM/ASEAN Accord) with 235/40R18 tires on 8.5in wide alloy wheels.

Tire Diameter is 25.4 inches.

umm i dont know the exact width will try to measure it tom. medyo mlapad ung rims ko ehh ksi even with the 224/40/r18 tires pag nag turn ako ng sagad drabe ung sayad ng tires sa loob ng fender un eh pag nag u-turn lng nmn ako and pag 5 ang sakay ko sa oto dumaan lng ako sa lubak or sa humps ng medyo mabilis sumasayad ung tires sa loob ng fender sa likod pero ok lng minsan lng nmn ako mag sakay ng 5 passenger sa oto ko ehh!

Two of them, 18X7.5 and an 18X8....
if its the 8 inch wide rim, I guess a 235mm wide tire won't have any problems, some "stock" cars match 235s with 8 inch wheels like the Boxster S(front tires/wheels) for example.

18X8 ung akin! nde na pde skin un 235mm skin dun lng sa 225mm puro sayad na inaabot ko front n rear eh but tnx anyway for the input!
