June 16th, 2015 01:02 AM #13Kahit sa Wheeler Dealers garage ni Ed China walang ganyan. They still check the shocks the old fashioned way by just bouncing the corners. Works naman eh.

June 18th, 2015 05:03 AM #14Wow you're basing it on a tv show.. Are you based in UK?? Anyways it used on every single car being tested yearly to assess road worthiness of all cars on the road not single out suspensions alone.. FYI the test is called NCT.. Google it for more info..

August 4th, 2015 05:11 PM #17Best way to test it is by "actual feel" during driving. When shock absorbers go bad, the shaft gets stuck at the bottom and isn't strong enough to retract and push the car back up. Ibig sabihin, kapag nalubak ka, wala ng mag-aabsorb ng impact pababa so yung coil spring at suspension parts ang sasalo ng force. Definitely, mararamdaman mo to sa loob ng cabin.

IMO replaced it every 80k kms.. Or earlier, Or any signs of wear sa tires.. Or pag hindi na stable sa high speeds ang car mo, even if their is no signs of wear on your shocks or tires...
