muffler tip dikit sa bumper

Mga sir,

just want to know your opinion on this. I bought a muffler tip in an auto accesories shop. I installed it myself. the next day i went into a muffler shop to have it welded. i've heard na ninanakaw kasi to so i wanted it spot welded on 3 points. It turned out pretty good and it really looks good. the welder told me that " sir masusunog tong bumber nyo dahil mainit buga ng muffler, matutunaw ang bumber sa tagalan"

here is the picture of the muffler tip na dikit sa bumber ko, pasensya na di masyado maganda kuha ng camera:



As you can see, the body of the muffler touches my bumber. yung dulo lang ng bumber dikit sa muffler specifically the left side lang. yung right side hinde dikit, so technically and dapat lang bawasan in case is the left side which touches the end on the bumber.

my question is:

is it really true that the muffler tip gets really hot that it can burn my bumber. Yung stock wrap around skirt ng honda esi ko is made from hard rubber just like any ordinary chins/wrap arounds.

totoo bang masusunog ang bumber ko to a point that it will melt and damage my bumber? hinde ba dapat ang lalabas sa tip ng bumber is more likely wamer / colder than of course what comes out of the headers itself?

kasi kung totoong masusunog at matutunaw yung bumber ko, i might as well bring it to my trusted paint shop and have the gap between the muffler and bumber bigger that it will no longer touch the muffler. but of course gastos nanaman to that's why i wanted get opinions from this site since trusted ko na mga tao dito and they really talk sense not just ordinary "pulpol" mechanics.

no vibrations sir as in total wala, knina inobserve ko ng mabuti at low mid and high rpm. walang vibration coming from the bumber itself. hinde kasi sya totally naka dikit ng todo. It just touches the muffler tip so walang force nangaling sa bumber to the muffler. if you get what im saying... ang alala ko lang is kng nag iinit ba ng todo ang muffler tip to a point that it can melt the bumber...

maluluto yun paint mo tsaka mangingitim. pwede din mag warp bumper mo. dapat dalawa daliri clearance nyan

mangingitim yung paint sa portion kung saan nakadikit yung muffler.

here's my old car with an aftermarket exhaust, medyo nakalawit lang ng konti yung tip just outside the bumper para hindi dumikit sa bumper:

Siguro magandang gawin mo .Pwede mo naman ipababa ng konti iyang muffler mo para hindi sumasayad sandali lang gawin iyan ng mga gumagawa ng exhaust pipe .o palagyan mo ng konting gap between the muffler and the bumper tapos lagyan mo ng asbestos sa gitna .Para hindi mag rattle at maginit bumper mo.

and i suppose, karamihan ng nagpalit ng muffler na experience na rin ang ganitong situation. malamang kasi pag malaki muffler mo didikit talaga sa dulo ng bumber nyo. if ever meron sa inyo na dikit ang muffler sa bumber please share your experience kung talgang natutunaw yung bumber beacuse of the tip's heat. thanks again =)
