    1. Proper procedure sa pag drain ng radiator?
    2. Proper procedure sa paglalgay ng coolant?
    3. Anong coolant ang magandang gamitin for Honda City '98?
    4. Pano po yung mixture ratio ng water and coolant?
    5. Pag po naglalagay na ako ng coolant with mixture of water eh dapat bukas makina ko?
    6. Ilang liters po kaya yung need nitong radiator?

Since you are using tap water it would be better if you use "Frestone Radiator Flush" to remove some sediment inside your radiator core before changing coolant. Follow direction before doing so.

Now when you done with that just loosen the drain plug from the radiator, and let drain, put a water hose to the radiator and start the motor,(donot closed the drainage)and let water run thru it till you just see clear water pouring out,but make sure you keeping on eye the temp gauge.

When water is clear turn off engine/turn off water hose/ drain all out remaining water in radiator/ closed the drain plug.

Fill the radiator with pre-mixed fresh coolant 50/50 mixture. Clean water reservoir good remove all tap water pour coolant into minimum level/start the engine/ wait till radiator fan start(note: watch carefully on coolant level, add if needed) / turn off engine pour the remaining coolant into radiator and reservoir max level(do not overfill). Replace both cap/ closed the hood, grab an ice cold beer........then enjoy.

350 petot lang for a gallon.

Hep!!!!!! hold on there pardner! I guess testament 11 made a typo for saying pure coolant. Do not and again do not use pure coolant on radiator it has to mix w/ 50 parts distilled water(not tap water) its standard or your car will overheat.

    Let me explai why.

Anti freeze basically serves 2 purposes, 1) prevent the engine coolant from freezing in low temperatures, 2) inhibits corrosion formation in the cooling system.

The coolant in your cars engine consists of part water and part anti-freeze, never 100% anti freeze. Why you ask? Well, it is because water below it's boiling point is better able to absorb heat from the engine and carry it to the radiator than the primary chemical (ethyl glycol) that is used to make anti freeze. Too much concentration of anti freeze solution in your coolant system can actually cause your engine to be more subject to boiling over in hot climatic temperatures.

Because water works better in higher temperatures to cool and anti freeze is the property needed to prevent freezing, a trade off is necessary for the coolant to perform most efficiently, year round.
Hopefully this will help you understand about coolant.
