Gud pm to all! I just want to know what wud be the problem if our tranny has a loud shift shocks.. Lalo na wen going to the 2nd or 3rd gear... ska pag nka floor ung gas.. ang lakas ng shift shock.. prang nbbangga ung tunog... one of my friend told me na its the engine and transmission support.. tpos nung tnanong ko nman sa banawe they told me try to have a change oil of the transmission fluid... ouucchh! msakit na bulsa ko sa gastos! huhuhu!pls suggest whats the best thing to do!!

older cars tend to have very noticeable shift shock. but if its violent enough to compare it to a bump, there might be a problem. a change in ATF may reduce the shock.

April 17th, 2008 10:10 AM #3Change the ATF first. baka symptoms na din yan na may problem transmission mo. At least sa ngayon shift shock pa lang, meaning to say functioning at umaabot pa ng 4th gear yung tranny mo. Baka ma solve yan pag nagpalit ka ng ATF.

April 17th, 2008 11:48 AM #4Talagang mag shift shock yan pag floor mo gas. Change mo ATF and filter baka lumang luma na yan.
