July 21st, 2010 03:26 AM #1tried and went to Honda Spa last weekend... all i can say... its not for the average type of car owner like me... went there 7am.. nakalabas ako 4pm na.. full diagnostic ang etcetera... muntik na ko himatayin sa mga parts na dapat palitan sa aking 17yr old second hand bought car...gusto yatang gawin brand new yun luma oto ko eh.. hehehe
ill stick to my banawe shop and mechanic na lang.. same service yet di sing mahal...and i think its practical for my 17 yr old car.

July 21st, 2010 09:50 AM #3In my experience, the model of my car did not affect how they rendered service to it. I had the 85Tkm-check up of my 98 honda civic at SPA (changed oil, oil filter, tune up, break inspection, tire rotation and the usual general check up to see, and showed me, what needs to be replaced/repaired since I bought it second hand). I got there around 8AM and finished before 11AM. I was satisfied with their service.

Can they also diagnose CVT for Honda Jazz? I have a wierd 'lata' sound coming everytime I accelerate from 1500rpm to 2000rpm.

July 23rd, 2010 05:21 PM #5guys,
just went there kanina, 9am ako dumating, 11 am paalis na ako. pang-10 akong dumating. di na ako nagpacarwash coz nagmamadali ako and i can say kudos to sir abet and the crew. dami kong tinanong at dami ko ring natutunan. very personal and magalang at mababait sila. nagbabasa ako sa madilim na room, ayun, may nagbukas ng ilaw para lumiwanag. maliit lang yun pero napansin ko rin. will go there ulit sa yearly rustproof ko...yearly pala kailangan ang rustproofing....now i know.

November 11th, 2010 09:27 PM #9been to Honda Spa. like everyone else says, CASA sila sumingil the difference is you can see everything done in your car. and they have good equipments.
binisita ko yun speedyfix, not my standards when it comes to service: non-uniformed mechanics, parang walang lifter dun. saka ma-grasa din but I believe yun sobrang daming good feedbacks sa kanya yun nga lang turn off ako sa itsura ng service area, maselan ako

Dun sa general inspection at test drive sabi sakin nung driver may nararamdaman sya sa front right shocks, Total damage 8100 per shock, total of 16200. OUCH!
12100 for remanufacturing, papadala pa nila sa planta, 2 week wait time, so 2 weeks naka tenga sasakyan mo. Di pwede tong option nato kasi una daily driver ko ung auto ko, pangalawa, ANG MAHAL!
Sabi ko tuloy nalang yung 70K PMS. 3,539 for the 70k PMS. Here's the breakdown:
Labor: 1120
Misc Parts: Washer Drain Plug and Oil Filter: 350
Honda Fully Synthetic VTECLEV: 2240
Various Fluid Top up: 88
= 3539 (May less discount sa labor and parts ayon sa receipt)
Labor done is test drive and thorough inspection of steering and suspension parts,
cleaning of brake discs and drums and corresponding brake pads,
inspection of brake lines and braking system,
inspection of tires and their road worthiness and adding air to achieved recommended PSI,
general inspection of the engine, check and top up it's various fluids and inspection of the engine bay.
Ayun dahil nga sa young but competent mechanics nila huli agad yung problema. Kung money is no object, definitely dun ako papagawa. Maganda at completo sa gamit, trained for honda cars talaga mga technicians. 2 thumbs up for Honda SPA.
HTH.
OT: Sir patulong naman po tungkol sa power steering dilemma ko, please see this thread http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...t=35785&page=2
