October 25th, 2010 08:49 PM #1loan's finally approved!
now it's a choice between honda shaw and honda kal..
my question is, from where should we get our honda city? we live in makati and, while after sales servive doesn't depend on location kasi pwede namang ipagawa sa kahit saang casa, syempre advantage din na mas malapit ang honda shaw for repairs and other services..
or are there better delears/locations than the two?
thanks!

If the casa provides rustproofing for free, it just means to say na partial rust-proofing lang yun. I got mine from Shaw not only because it's very close to where I live but also because kumpleto sa gamit ang casa nila.

kung bibili lang from which dealer... dun ako sa honda kal kasi yung SA nila nagoffer ng better options than honda shaw. tinapatan lang ng SA sa honda shaw, not even offering it the first time around. unlike honda kal's SA mas honest and IMO will give better service.
sa service naman, well wala ako alam diyan kasi rare ako pagawa sa mga casa. pero my choice of casa is quezon ave kasi mas mura pyesa nila than other casa. halos katapat na lang ng prices ng banawe na orig.
another is honda spa. great service and hindi yung tulad ng iba na bawal pumasok on what they are doing to your car.

kausapin mo ulit honda kal sabihin mo tinapatan ng kabilang casa yung mga freebies, ask them what more you could give para dito ako kukuha ng unit sa inyo. btw sa honda kal kami kumuha ng car dati. sabi din sa akin ng agent no need for rustproofing.

April 16th, 2011 01:43 PM #5just looking at 2 dealerships? dude, daming dealerships around metro manila. send ka ng feelers, get quotes from each one then compare the price as well as freebies. then pit each dealerships with each other so the price can go down.
use your email to communicate so you'll not waste time and effort researching where to buy the car from. when researching, ask for the best price the dealership can give you. if possible, ask for details what are the items you will be paying for. then ask what is included in the car. and lastly, ask why will you buy the car from that dealership. when you have decided where to buy the vehicle from, ask the salesperson to put everything in writing before you even commit in buying the car.
it's too much of a work, but it's a big purchase. good luck.

August 24th, 2013 08:13 PM #6Hello all,
I'm new here at the forum
I'm getting my Honda city sometime next month and I'm deciding between Honda Shaw and Honda Makati. Honda Shaw gives me a better deal so most likely sa kanya na ko kukuha pero di ko pa nasabi kay Makati so pde tapatan pa nya.
Beside the standard freebies I'm getting the following free :
4 eye backup sensor (honda approved)
door visor (honda original)
trunk tray (honda original)
3M full front tint
Now my question is ok naman ba ang mga units na nirerelease ni Honda Shaw? May nakaexperience na ba dito na may defects upon release? Di ako maalam sa mga sasakyan, this is my first car actually. Ang alam ko lang magdrive haha. I plan to have the car delivered. I need feedback sana sa mga kumuha ng units from Honda Shaw.

*Champee - Honda Shaw and Honda Makati belong to the same corporation (Honda Cars Makati Inc.). Honda Alabang, Honda BGC, Honda Pasig, and Honda Cebu are also part of that same group. Car service records are shared between such dealers, as well as their parts ordering system.

at first I thought kasi to get second hand lang muna since first car ko, kaso baka sumakit lang ulo ko. di talaga ko car savvy so I want to make sure na yung unit na makukuha ko is walang problema.

Honda Cars Makati (Ayala-owned) - Makati, Alabang, Shaw, Pasig, BGC
Honda Cars Cebu (Ayala-owned) - Cebu, Mandaue, CDO, Negros OCC, Iloilo
Di ako sure sa Yuchengco-owned Honda dealerships pero yung Honda QA at Honda Kalookan part ng ata ng Yuchengco group and some other dealerships to the north.
Choice I would have made as well.
