July 9th, 2016 12:52 AM #612Hi Guys,
Anyone know a good place to buy Dunlop tires? I got a flat tire at the north bound section of slex (right after Bicutan exit). Had the tire checked and the damage was a cut on the side wall hiwa pati threading and no longer serviceable.
Trying to find a RS mags seller hopefully to group buy as I will only need i piece to replace the steel rims with mags for my spare tire. But until then i guess i will need to buy a new tire for my spare.
First timer here so I read some comments about wheel rotation, not sure how I should go about this with my current situation. Any ideas? Should I go about it in a different way?
Thanks Everyone !

Dunlop tires:
Dealer List
For your wheel sir, pwede dapat yan sa insurance. Medyo matagal lang siguro.
You can also buy a piece from honda if you're in a hurry, but it will be more expensive. Pag may stock sa planta, 2-3 days lang makukuha mo na. Depends on the dealer though, kung gaano sila kabilis magforward ng orders sa planta.

July 26th, 2016 01:29 PM #615Normal po daw talaga, sometimes when stepping on and or releasing of brakes, dahil po daw sa material na ginagamit for the brakes.
I went to the casa again for the 3rd time last July 23 good thing the supervisor was there to drive my car. He's evaluation was that it was normal because of the grip of the brakes. Sinabihan ko po ang supervisor na, ayoko kong masanay sa sound dahil pagkanagkataon na meron totoong problema, no reaction na ang response ko. He agreed with me but did not saying anything more.
I was still frustrated that hours after the conversation with the supervisor, I had the technician test drive my car again.

On a 14 year old pajero, nae-experience ko ito everytime bago ang brake pads. May mga brands na nawawala din agad after a few thousand kms (1k-2k). Mas matagal pa siguro pag light car lang kasi mas mababa stress sa brakes compared to a 2+ ton SUV. Pero meron din mga brands na hindi talaga nawawala ang grinding sound. Same sound din nung unang beses mapudpod yung brake rotors ko, then nawala din after mapalitan. Same case din sa lumang civic ko.

July 28th, 2016 10:43 AM #617Honda itself sells ultrasonic backup sensors. 2 sensor lang daw ang pwede sa mobilio because of the shape of the bumper. 3900 pesos (sa local provincial honda ko), installation included in the fee I assume. It's expensive but I assume I won't void the 3 year warranty. I can buy Similar sensor kits on ebay/aliexpress for $10-20 and install it myself but of course this is not an easy install and the warranty will be void. I have a new mobilio so this is a big deal.
The other options which do not involve extensive installation and voiding of warranty is a battery powered license plate ultrasonic sensor which connects via bluetooth to your phone ($99-$150 not including shipping) or a solar powered license plate camera ($500 not including shipping). Links below

RearVision: A Redefined Wireless Backup Camera System | Pearl
Price is expensive since these are new inventions direct from the american inventors. Obviously once the chinese copy it then the price will go down. But so far I have not seen any knockoffs

July 28th, 2016 03:39 PM #619I had the mobilio late Febuary of this year and a 4562 kms mileage. The agent advised that I should be taking long travels to really put the brakes working hard. Your are right when you said grinding sound, not just a simple "tok", it really gets into my nerve sometimes and it's one reason that kept me from using it for long travels. But anyway, I will take the agent's advice and use it more often for long travels not just to office, kids to school and back.
Thank you sa inputs mo jettp0gi, I'm learning a lot.

they did mention that the Seal would have won a 0-60 comparison. But I agree that a 60-80 test...
