honda engine oil

bro ano bang pina ka best na engine oil na gamit nyo.? ung unit ko civic 05 , ginagamit ko b4 honda engine oil from casa, gusto kung mag change ng other commercial engine oils..
castrol magnatec ok ba yan sa car ko..?? or mobil ?

your car's engine, like mine, will take any oil thinner than 20w-50. i've been told that honda uses a superior oiling mechanism, better than that of any other manufacturers daw. so use any oil you like, wag lang yung 20w-50 grade... pang Saturn na makina lang yun hehe.

maganda yung sa casa ah, 10w-30 yung regular, mura pa. bilhin mo yung castrol magnatec 10w-40 sa labas isang gallon 800 na yun wala pa filter. sa casa 875 lang all in pati filter. maganda din naman yung oil ng casa (magnatec is not semi-synthetic despite what lots of people say). i'd stay with regular lang if changing every 6,000 kms is OK. oil is oil... it won't make your car run faster no matter what you use.

going up the scale, semi-synthetic like havoline energy blue green bottle... sa casa 1200 yung semi nila, sa labas halos presyong fully synthetic na.

maganda yung fully syn din ng casa, i ike it better than mobil (maingay makina sa mobil eh dunno why).

Magnatec yong nilagay ko on my previous change oil on 98 Accord. 800 lang pala yon, walastick yong shop singil niya sa akin 1000 isang gal.
