September 20th, 2009 12:30 AM #4Yup. Read ur car's manual. Its written there.
Blinking D means your transmission has a problem, pull over.
Problems might be
1. Overheating (no fluid/dirty fluid/lacking fluid) <- will be fixed once you drain and refill the fluid
2. Transmission computer issues <- Casa na to.
Using the car with Blinking D for long periods of time will result in a broken transmission.
Mahal ang transmission.
Worse comes to worse, tranny should be pulled down and check for gear wear and tear.

September 24th, 2009 03:48 PM #6Blinking "D" is for automatic transmissions located near the speedometer.
I had the same problem early this year. The mechanic said madumi daw yung solonoid which i had cleaned and it went away. Unfortunately CRV's and Accords are known for transmission problems. They have the same type of transmission, I had first hand experience for both cars 02 Accord & 02 CRV

September 24th, 2009 04:19 PM #7thanks for the info sir... yung sa amin po crv manual.. pero nag ka problem din ung transmission nya... mahirap mag downshift... ayun.. baba yung trans. assembly..
I don't have an Innova sorry. In some engines they can have as many as 3 including the timing belt.
