    mga sir gud day po. ask ko lng po kung ilang horsepower po ang difference ng 2 engine.d15 vtec vs d15 non-vtec? kasi po ung nsa esi ko eh d15 n non-vtec. ano pa po pwede ko gawin para lumakas p and hatak ng auto ko. thanks po in advance.

    mga master d15b-2075393 po yung engine ko. sabi po nila non-vtec daw po to. pero pgm-fi n po xa. ano p po pwede gwin para mas lumakas p hatak and also magkno po kaya aabutin kung swap ko engine ko to d15b-vtec. and san po mganda mag-swap.thanks.

    it is very possible for you to swap a d15 20 lobe vtec on your engine. you will need the cylinder head, distributor, ecu and oil line to the head. the cost is slightly less than doing an engine swap. hence, i will go for the engine swap. it might set you back around 50k with a reputable shop doing the swap.

    i would not go for the engine swap since power of honda comes from the head. mini-me set up would do just fine, mas mura kesa total engine swap. remember the power of honda comes from the head. ang maganda sa mini-me, no need for change engine number.

    pero if you opt for a total engine swap of a d15b vtec, its going to cost you around 30k - 35k. 50k is too much... forced speed and h3 are well experienced on doing such transplant.

    sir, just want to ask what is mini-me? sorry po bago lang po kasi ako. and san po kya mganda mag-pa swap ng engine? how much po yung magagastos kung mag mini-me ako? thanks po ng marami. ^_^ and if mag engine swap po ako may mga parts pa po b na papalitan p sa auto ko? thanks ulit.

    medyo mas mabilis lang kung mini-me. vtec head and p08 na ecu lang magastos pero the rest cheap na lang. siguro mga 15k -20k yung mini-me.

    for the total engine swap, the engine it self, ecu and some lines to fit the vtec. make sure that the engine is a d15b vtec, check for the solenoid para sure. also check the engine with pnp, lto para sure na clean papers.

    for the shops, forced speed, hongly, h3 are well experienced on engine transplants and/or upgrades.

    D15b PGM-Fi tapos non-vtec? ano ang kotse mo? ikaw ba ang first owner ng kotse na yan?

    mukhang pinalitan yata yang intake throttle mo ng PGM-Fi kaya naging non-vtec.

    kung papalitan mo ng makina yan well nasasayo na yan kasi ang makina ng D15b na VTEC mapa manual or automatic ay nasa 30k to 35k may kasama nang tranny yun manual or matic, power steering pump at ang reservoir nito, aircon compressor at ECU or computer box na may kasamang wire harness and then ang labor naman ng kabit makina at wiring aabutin ng 8k to 15k. kaya mas maganda kung may mga kakilala kang importer na nag babagsak ng surplus para mapamura ka.

    since naka D15b ka naman na makina, palitan mo na lang cguro ang intake throttle mo ng pang VTEC na D15b galing sa civic na EG-1 or 4 na surplus pati rin ang ECU or computer box mo na surplus na ang pinanggalingan din ay galing sa civic na nabanggit ko di ka cguro aabutin nyan ng or lalagpas ng 15k, kasi 15k nakabili ka na rin ng ng magandang sparkplus at mas makapal na hi-tension wire mo kesa sa dati mong gamit at di lang yan naka-bili ka na ng air-filter w/ tube na simota racing kasama na rin ang engine breather filter at naka-bili ka na rin isang pares na disc brake na pang likod na may kasamang arm at shocks na surplus.


    ay oo nga pala itong 31 na'to ng march magbabagsak ang SPRINT ng surplus sa bodega nila punta ka sa shop nila sa banawe sa kanto ng AGNO at itanong mo kung saan ang bodega nila sabay puntahan mo.

    sir i need an info. i got a hand to an old honda civic 1993 esi. im not really familiar with hondas, pasensya po. nong tinignan ko engine, hindi na un ung original engine. instead a japan po8 civic engine was installed. i think its larger. i modified the kickdown cable because d original cable was short for the large engine. ang prob ko po e ung computer box nong original engine is not compatible ata dun sa engine installed kaya ung vtec ko hindi gumagana. may iba po bang paraan kung paano paganahin ito without buying a new comp box? pd ko po na i bypass ung vtec nya and will always in on position kaso d ko alam kung ano magiging effect sa engine and sa fuel comsumption ko. maraming salamat po sa magbibigay ng insights.. good day mga sir.

    Sir please supply following info:
    1. Engine code (makikita ito sa block ng engine naka-stencil)
    2. Picture of the engine bay (p08 is not engine code/description, it is ECU-EFI system code)
    3. Large engine? (not descriptive enough, kunan niyo na lang ng picture sir tapos post niyo dito para makita naman at makapag-bigay ng tamang sagot sa mga tanong niyo)
    4. Original engine box not compatible with current engine installed? (sir kunan niyo na din ng pic pati yung box, kahit yung samay serial number lang).

    *Original box = ESi box for PH16 = P27 OBD1
    *P08 boxes are OBD1 as well, and should be compatible with your engine. Besides, hindi po tatakbo yan kung hindi compatible.
    *Original ESi box (P27) does not have VTEC engagement, so kung VTEC head po yung nakakabit sa engine niyo hindi po mage-engage yan. Kaya nga advisable na pag nagpalit ng VTEC engine ay papalitan pati box na compatible dun sa engine head (cylinder head, whatever you want to call it).

    Mga sirs tama ba pagkakabasa ko? Yung Mini-me set-up is ilalagay yung Vtec head, ECU atbp sa mga D15b na non-vtec?

    Can I do this on my engine na may Blown head-gasket? Palitan ng gasket then instead na i-resurface ang warped heads gawing Mini-me para maging VTec yung engine para hindi na change engine number sa rehistro?

    pwede, basta walang tama block. palitan ecu lang at head then tune.

    not advisable to put manual switch. sa kick panel sa passenger side ang computer box. how did you know na non vtec ecu?

    parechip niyo na lang sir Para may engage vtec. tapos tune, magiiba kasi basa ng ecu kung rechip. p08 ecu programmable din kaya kailangan tune.

    magkano kaya ung sir? the chip? tune? installation? may significant difference po ba?
