I was able to see the Accord two weeks ago inside the Honda dealership at the Fort (not yet in the display area).
Looks nice and sporty. I heard they're planning to sell it a very slight premium to the Camry.
No wonder they have a promo for the Accord, kasi may bago na palang lalabas and they need to get their inventory sold....
One of my colleauges in the office has one since Dec 2007. It definitely is an improvement compared to the one it replaced. At least on the exterior.
Although it still is smaller compared to the bulkier 2007 Camry, i would'nt mind it if company is getting me one.![]()
I've seen the "New" Accord but I don't know if it's going to sell in 08? Baka sa 09. Is it like my Accord? http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...t=4207&page=8p
About interior room, its slightly bigger up front, and slightly smaller at the back.

sabi SA ko march daw release nito.sabi pa ng SA ko "aminado naman po kami na pangit ung accord namin.pero ung bagong labas po un talaga panatapat namin sa camry"haha.
Yep this Accord looks like it has a chance against the Camry. The current Accord just sucked and I even preferred the Accord that came before it to be honest.
the Accord got some good reviews on the net. Beating the Camry overall
The ASEAN Accord will be available with 3 engines(2.0, 2.4, 3.5), but like before, we'll probably skip the base 2.0 model.

I see...how about features, options, and pricing? May na leak na bang info?![]()
I think they haven't released any specs or any info yet.
But to give you a basic idea of the ASEAN Accord, check out Honda Thailand's website.
http://www.honda.co.th/accord/tvc_en.html
We'll most likely get the 2.4 and 3.5 liter models only and not the 2.0 liter model.
Of course there's probably a 95% chance that some standard features listed in the Thai website won't make it here, it usually happens...
Anyway lets wait and see.

If I had the new Accord, the first thing I'd do is take out the front bumper, get a can of flat-black spray paint and cover up the front intake's "teeth" (below the license plate). Why Honda had to color-key such a thing, I have no idea.
Otherwise it's a real looker.
I've noticed this is the second iteration of the Accord which has polarizing styling. Translation: It's either you like it or you don't.
Yep!
Actually, if you looked closer or had a bigger picture of the Accord's front clip, the "lone horizontal bar" is intersected by five or six vertical ones. All of those are the "teeth" I'm referring to.
Short of cutting those out, I think flat-black paint will make them "disappear."
