The ASEAN Accord will be available with 3 engines(2.0, 2.4, 3.5), but like before, we'll probably skip the base 2.0 model.

    Basic Engine specs and dimensions...
    2.4 liter i-VTEC
    Engine: DOHC 16-valve inline-4
    Max Power: 180 PS * 6500 rpm
    Max Torque: 225 Nm * 4500 rpm

    3.5 liter i-VTEC VCM
    Engine: SOHC 24-valve V6
    Max Power: 280 PS * 6200 rpm
    Max Torque: 342 Nm * 5000 rpm

    Transmission: 5-speed A/T

    Overall Length: 4945 mm
    Overall Width: 1845 mm
    Overall Height: 1475 mm
    Wheelbase: 2800 mm
Curb weight: 1550 kg (2.4) 1645 kg (3.5) *weight might vary slightly depending on the standard features of the RP spec Accord models.
Tire size: 215/60R16 (low end 2.4 model) 225/50R17 (high end 2.4 and 3.5 models)

I think they haven't released any specs or any info yet.
But to give you a basic idea of the ASEAN Accord, check out Honda Thailand's website.
    http://www.honda.co.th/accord/tvc_en.html
We'll most likely get the 2.4 and 3.5 liter models only and not the 2.0 liter model.
Of course there's probably a 95% chance that some standard features listed in the Thai website won't make it here, it usually happens...
    Anyway lets wait and see.

If I had the new Accord, the first thing I'd do is take out the front bumper, get a can of flat-black spray paint and cover up the front intake's "teeth" (below the license plate). Why Honda had to color-key such a thing, I have no idea.

    Otherwise it's a real looker.

I've noticed this is the second iteration of the Accord which has polarizing styling. Translation: It's either you like it or you don't.

That one bar across the front intake/airdam?

By the way, in Thailand Honda is offering a Modulo Kit similar to the one on the JDM Inspire.

    Yep!

Actually, if you looked closer or had a bigger picture of the Accord's front clip, the "lone horizontal bar" is intersected by five or six vertical ones. All of those are the "teeth" I'm referring to.

Short of cutting those out, I think flat-black paint will make them "disappear."
