I have 2007 1.8s a/t, napansin ko lang recently na pag sa 2nd or 3rd gear na and below 2000rpm ay medyo kumakadyot siya. pero pag inaapakan yung accelerator at lumampas na ng 2000rpm smooth na uli. ano kaya problema? maya naka-experience na ba sa inyo nito? patulong naman. tia.

Hi Guys, I am planning to purchase a used set of OEM 205/55/R16 (mags/tires) for my FD as a replacement for my OEM 215/45/R17 mags/tires just for the rainy season (sa 2007/8 1.8S ata yun – parang SIR yung style nung mags); I plan to use the latter set during summer season. Andaming lubak lately sa Metro Manila plus the fact that galing ako sa SUV kaya madalas nalulubak ako due to driving habits siguro. Sumasakit puso ko pagnalulubak ko yung oto eh. LOL.

What are the pros and cons in terms of riding comfort, handling/grip, fuel consumption, rolling resistance, among others? Thanks in advance.

There should be not much difference between the 17s and the 16s. If anything, you should feel a softer ride due to the higher profile tires. Just make sure the tread on the 205/55s is still sufficient for the wet roads. HTH

Absolutely hate the new 2012 Civic CBU from Japan or soon Thailand? Miss the 8th gen? Hate buying somebody's else's 8th gen? No fear! Get a brand new one (but you have to go to China to buy one).

    Yup...Quoted from Jeremy Clarkson...

The car above is pretty much the eight-generation Civic, repackaged for China.
Dongfeng and Honda is in a 50:50 joint-venture.
So this is not a pirated car.

Basta ang good news dito: China made = cheap prices....sana ma-translate din na maging cheap ang prices ng mga parts netong CIIMO.

Try sending a personal letter to honda hq. how many honda cars have you had? If you had honda cars before, they might take actions on it - that's for being loyal to them. Honda fixed some of my car's problems for free. There's no harm in trying.
