dati gusto kong first car eh eg hatch
tapos nagbago isip ko,naging corolla bigbody na xe(para tipid sa gas),tapos rolla na gli)kababasa ko kasi sa tsikot eh halos pareho lng daw consumo ng xe,all power pa)
tapos naging nissan s3 naman!(mura eh!)hahaha
tapos naging esi lastweek gusto ko bilhin.
kaso pag nakakakita ako ng hatch sa kalsada eh gusto ko na ulit bumili!

kay utol eh 97 lxi.grabe sa tipid sa gas pala aba.gamit ko ngayon ala sya parking sa makati kaya di madala.hehehe!
ang tanong ko eh ok lang b bumili ng hatch kahit stock engine pa sya at repainted na?sympre magsasama ako ng mekaniko sa pagbili.
kasya na kaya budget ko?oh hintayin ko na pasko para madagdagan pa budget ko ng kaunti?

LXi comes with ph15 engine. matipid po talaga ito at mura ang parts. compare it to VTi. mas malakas Vti.

wala pa akong First Car. wala pa ako license eh. hopefully nextyear I can get a non-pro and a old car!

*dendedon. if I were you get the 97-00 batch civics. kasi medjo sirain na po ang 90-95 model na civics. kung meron man na EG honda na lady driver or matatanda na ang may ari. +1 for it. ayon sa mga past post ng ating fellow tsikoters. parang toy car or sunday car lang ito. kung pang everyday mo ito. mamomoblema ka lang po. or Try getting CITY. much cheaper at VTEC na ang engines nito as far as i know.

+1 on the City. Just don't get a 1.3 A/T. 1.5 M/T VTEC FTW.

Kung ako sayo, I wont be opting for old cars kahit na mapormahan pa yan or what ... especially if this will be your 1st car.

Kasi, you might end up inside a talyer fixing your engine rather than on a mod shop somewhere else.

Pero, if you would want to push through with this, go on.

Suggestion, don't get the modded cars.

Get the less touched, less modded. Preferably stock.

Why ? Para ikaw masunod whether to put this or put that ; and ...

Less modded cars usually have less modified engines hence, less din hassle for you if ever this breaks down.

Pero stock cars aren't always perfect ha, some are even worse than modded ones.

Kaya, a good eye and a good mechanic is needed.

Ingat sa flooded, may flooded units na malinis. Wag papaloko.

Regarding sa mura lang ba i-mod ang EG, my answer would be a big NO.

Modifications are endless.

It's up to you on up to what budget you should be spending on mods.

A simple modification can cost you only 30k, but then again it can go up as high as 500k.

Function > Form or ... Form < Function. Bahala ka, it's your car.

*sir renzo. thanks for the tip. wala pa akong pera pang mod. baka pati pang gas wala rin the problems with cars kasi after 3 years lumalabas na ang problems at SUNOD SUNOD pa. just like what happen in my tita's GV. lumalabas na ung mga problems sa aircon, electrical etc.

Depends really on how the car was maintained by the previous owner. But yeah, with a car like that, expect problems that would make you shell out at least 50k. Well, not really problems. Pero syempre, your immediate change oil change everything when you get the car.

Bulutong roof, like what has been said on the previous page is also a common problem to that Civic. So, if I were you ... invest more money. Get the newer civics, then that's the time you mod it.

Para hindi ka na rin mashort sa pera if ever this problem pops out.
