Honda Civic 1996 Model: Oldness to Freshness...

[SIZE=3]I have my newly acquired Honda Civic 1996 model. stock na stock siya. from the body, to engine bay, as in! stock na stock. . I know medyo tumatanda na ang model na ito but I want to maintained it, though it is not that fresh enough, and I know, it will cost me a lot, but because this is my first car ever, and it is my Dad's gift to me, gusto kung mabuhay ulit, I mean yon bang babangis bangis naman siya. gagastusan lang din naman, edi yong worth it na. hehe... any suggestions mga Sir? I want to have some mods, interior, exterior, especially sa makina... hindi lang kami makapag start kung ano first gagawin because sayang ang pera. kaya dapat tamang tama ang pag kakagastusan. hirap pa naman ng buhay ngayon. blessed na blessed na rin ako dahil may 1996 model ako. thanks to my Dad.

Kung gusto moi mabuhay ung civic mo..una Palitan mo ung rims...marami naman dyan maganda rims...especially ROTAs marami maganda designs nasa sayo na un kung ano swak sa taste mo...and then kung sa performance naman i would suggest unahin mo intake and exhaust...install aftermarket air filter and headers, exhaust muffler..kahit sa ganyan lang malaki na magiging difference ng kotse mo in terms of looks and performance...Kapag hindi kpa satisfied you can explore to more extreme modifocations...I hope nabigyan kita ng idea on how to set your car up...Goodluck!

* Bro TS - So far sir the performance is great, though my sound system is still not working due to budget constraints.. hehe..!! I want to focus more on the things under the hood to improve performance and fuel consumption. Mahal nanaman kasi ng gasolina..!!

Student ka TS? if that's the case, gawa ka budget plan, kung ano uunahin mo, tapos kung kaya every week or 2 weeks 250-500 magtabi ka, eventually makakaipon kadin, or pa impress ka sa parents with those grades ehe.. Malay mo may reward.. Regular car wash and wax pala para mapreserve color nang car and added protection sa paint..

maganda ang naka lowered tapos naka aftermarket wheels ka na. kaso ang problema yung kalsada sa atin. kung lagi mong dinadaanan malubak at puro humps i wont recommend it, tapos daily driven car mo pa yan.

new paint job tapos no tint (kaso mainit) maganda ng tignan yan parang bago ulit siya. yung windshield pati mga mirrors nya pa glass detail mo siya. palinis mo na din yung headlight or better yet replace it kahit depo brand lang. fresh looking ulit yan car na yan.

Sir, newbie din ako dito, pero gusto ko lang sana makisali sa forum. Anyway, we have the same car sir, '96 honda civic vtec, first car ko din na pinagpaguran talaga pero 2nd hand ko nakuha, naka-downpipe na sya nung nabili ko..ok naman, minsan lang nakakaasar kasi maingay talaga, baka isipin ng ibang motorists mayabang ako because of the sound that it produce lalo na during acceleration or nagmamadali. napapaisip nga ako minsan kung ibabalik ko sa stock or something much less noisier ang muffler nya but i dont know where, how, and how much.hehe. Post mo yung car mo sir para ma-share din sa ibang katulad natin na owner ng 96 civic. In addition pala sir, lowered din ang civic ko nung nabili ko, but i decided to bring it back to stock height, mas comfortable para sa akin çoz mahirap sa mga humps ang lowered, besides, putol lang din naman ang spring nya which is ayoko because i dont find it safe
