Hi Guys, I bought a 2nd 2014 Honda City few months ago. I intend to change oil outside CASA to save cost. Any suggestion on what oil and oil filter to use? Im planning to have in change oil in a gasoline station. Thanks in advance.

To save cost, I'm planning to use supplies and labor outside CASA.

For reference only (di ata pwede under warranty dito) - Honda quick oil change
    SS 5W30 = 2,035
    FS 0W20 2,915

    Mag1 FS 5W30 for gasoline 2k + oil filter 175 + labor 200 = 2,375

I use the above but instead Honda oil filter + crush washer so = 2,800, so ok na sa akin yung 2,915 package pag expire ng warranty ko

Read also rear section of the Owner's Manual to have an idea on the specifications of fluids and parts, and service intervals (what has to be done at XX km).

Sir, if you value warranty mas maganda at mas makakatipid ka in case magkaroon ng problema, pero kung void na talaga ang warranty mo then you are free to have your PMS done in any qualified auto maintenance shop. Honda requires their cars na only Genuine products ang gagamitin during maintenance schedule especially sa engine oil and transmission fluid. May mga special formulation daw kasi na tinimpla para lang talaga sa Honda. As CNS said, why not buy sa casa yung engine oil and pagawa sa labas. #jmtc.

    Yep +1 on that

I also value warranty heads up na lang ako sa mga addons ng casa during PMS.

    Still call mo yan TS

Ang Honda ba madami resellers ng genuine products gaya ng Toyorama for Toyota?

    Goodluck!

^^^ Not as much as Toyota but there are a few Honda parts store, e.g., Carpower at Pasay Taft.

Madalas mag sale sa hardware ng Landmark Trinoma yung 1 Gallon nila ng Mag 1 FMX nasa 1.6k na lang. Plus baldwin filter gamitin mo good for 10,000k KMS na.
