Honda City 2010 1.3s or 1.5e ???

Hi Guys,

im planning to buy a new city next month.

w/c is better 1.3s or 1.5e ???

pero madami kumokontra na matic bblhn ko. mag manual nlng daw ako.

magastos daw ang matic..22o po ba ?

2nd, Ano ba nirereklamo na magastos sa matic? Magastos sya yun unit? or magastos sya sa gasolina? or Magastos sya sa maintenance?

Yun unit naman worth it kung matic. Blessing talaga ito kapag ma-trapik.

Sa gasolina naman, matipid rin sya. Driving style lang ang katalo nyan. Isipin mo ang mga Honda Jazz na ginamit sa Petron Xtra Mile Challenge lahat A/T, although CVT nga lang.

Sa maintenance naman in a period of 10 years na no major breakdown, konti lang ang difference in maintaining an A/T and M/T. Malamang ang difference would be lang sa ATF fluids and brake pads lang.

Kung worried ka naman sa magastos, mag 1.3 City ka na lang.

In terms of engine performance, the 1.3MT and 1.5AT are almost a dead heat. That's how parasitic the automatic transmission is. Strap both cars to a chassis dynamometer and the bigger-engined car has a very minimal power gain over the 1.3MT.

If you favor the 1.5 over the 1.3, you should look for some other reasons because you're really not getting a faster car.

oh i see..sorry for the text speak. i saw a lot of those in here. hehehe
as i was saying, madami kasi nag comment sa mga friends ko yung AT daw pag nasira malaki daw ang gastos hindi tulad ng MT. yun lang naman. i prefer talaga AT kasi from tarlac, uuwi ako lagi ng weekends sa manila.long drive siya kaya mas pabor daw sa akin ang AT. pero sa mga mahilig sa hand jobs, hehe . boring daw AT sa expressway kasi wala kana daw gagawin. im open to all opinions pa naman. kasi 1st car ko to if ever. hehe

thanks for the comment. ive been reading a lot of posts here and instead of 1.5e , should go for civic na lang daw. im planning to ask my dad for an addtl 200t para ma buy ko yung civic if ever. the only thing i read negative about civic here is the hard seat.

the Honda city 1.5E is bang for the buck paddle sifters, fog lights etc but you can opt for Honda civic 1.8V AT just like what i did hehe onti nalang difference add ka nlng nang onti

hmmm ok lang 7-8kms per liter pag city pag highway naman 10-12kms per liter mixed is 9kms/L automatic kasi
