guys i am really in need of your help.. ung 99 civic lxi ko madalas ng mag-overheat. i mean nagbabawas ng coolant pero wala namang visible leaks.
for the mean time eh pina-rekta ko muna ung fan, ayon wala ng overheat at tsaka hindi na nagbabawas ng coolant.

now the prob is ung motor nung fan baka bumigay kasi pag ON ko pa lang andar.

ano po kaya prob nung radiator ko, thermosensor kaaya?pls help me. Thank YOU!

    1. Check the radiator cap, bka it needs replacement na
    2. Check for leaks in the radiator and hose
    3. Have the radiator cleaned
    4. Check for the thermostat bka defective na
    5. Replace the fan
    6.Check water pump
    7. Pag nag over heat pa din, sa makina yan bka singaw kailangan palitan cylinder head gasket.

Additional check mo baka barado na iyong radiator mo . Pa check mo na lang muna sa radiator repair shop for analysis of the said problem.

    thanks mga sir..

ano po kaya kinalaman ng Thermoswitch dito? kasi saka lng mag-on yung fan kapag mataas na ung temp, saka bawas na ung tubig.. kaya pina-rekta ko po muna in the mean time.. TIA!

one way to check sir if the water pump is functioning is drain the radiator by about 1-2 liters then start and rev the engine. if the water moves to the left or right (depends on the location of the upper hose) considerably, then water pump is ok. overheating can cause the radiator to expand as well as the engine. check mo rin sir ang cylinder head and gasket mo. check also kung may kalog ang fan. bka fan clutch d na nagana.hope this helps

Hi! Ask ko lang, pag ni rev mo ba engine( with the radiator cap off) lumalabas yun tubig sa radiator?..or umiikot lang yung tubig?
