March 5th, 2010 10:52 AM #1Nagpagas ako ng unleaded full tank to test my fuel efficiency tapos at the end of the same day full tank ulit. Based on my compute 12.1km/L. Ang problema ko now. 3 days na ko naddrive around 150km na takbo ko di pa din bumababa ung needle full tank pa din. Normal ba to?

pwedeng pa dukot mo ang fuel float mo , baka nagstock ito, since tangal na rin test mo ito, habbang tanggal ibalik mo ang electrical connection subukan mong galawin yung float kung magbabago kung hindi baka sira na ito .

^^^ Agree. Do so more runs and see if the needle is still stuck, bro., before you do any invasive actions....
Sa mga bagong sasakyan na fuel-efficient talaga,- ikaw ang maiinip sa pagbaba ng needle ng fuel gauge...

March 5th, 2010 01:02 PM #7Dear Pre,
I agree before you do anything, please check if you have a very full tank, and base on you experience kung talaga bang less than half nalang ang tank mo. when you are sure na less than half ang fuel tankand yet di pa rin bumaba, that is when you have to check how to remedy the problem.
There could be a lot of reason:
Your sensor to the float is grounded that is why its full all the time
2nd, stuck ang float mo, so it send a signal full
3rd, sira na ang rheostat, this should be replaced with the sending unit
4) sira ang dial gauge, stuck up.
an a lot of other things...
The best way is bring to to a shop with a knowledgeable mechanic. Fuel gauging is common to all Japanese cars, not necessarily Honda mechanic.
I hope this helped,

Bago lang ba ride mo TS? Yung sa Mazda6 ko, saka lang gagalaw yung needle kung nasa 190-200km na natakbo ko after getting a full tank refill.
