    mga sir,

    how would I know if palitin na yung cylinder head gasket? any indication or test para malaman?

    may problem kasi ako sa radiator ko eh, in a short trip, maybe 5-10 kms or less yung water sa radiator reservoir ko ubos na or bawas agad drastically. So in know may problem. Nagpalit na ako ng water pump at radiator cap pero problem still persist. Di ko pa na pa check yung radiator sa shop if may leak or not.......nabasa ko lang dito isang possible cause is blown out cylinder head....if ever papalitan mo yung cylinder head, magkano po kaya magagastos (parts & labor)???

    Have compression and Leakdown tests performed para ma-verify kung saan talaga diprensya.

    your radiator should have some engine oil in order to get a definitive diagnosis of a blown headgasket.

    observe your radiator fluid... oily ba? smells like oil? does the water have weird looking brown semi solid particles floating around in there? if so, blown headgasket.

    the problem could be as simple as a stuck thermostat, a malfunctioning thermoswitch, or a dirty radiator core. try havng these checked out muna dahil hindi biro ang magpapalit ng headgasket. dalhin sa specialista at hindi sa mekaniko sa tabi tabi lang dahil may torque spec ang paghigpit sa cyclinder head, at hindi ginagamitan ng sealant and gasket ng honda, konting langis lang.

    OMG! Lahat ng yan eh napapansin ko sa radiator ng Adventure ko.

    Idle for 45 minutes, isang buong tabo ang kailangan kong ilagay na tubig sa radiator palagi.

    Patay, headgasket, mahal magpapalit nun.

    Ano po ba ang dahilan bakit nasisira ang gasket aside from overheating?

    itim pa ba oil mo, sir? if its color is anything but black/oil gold, blown headgasket, maybe a cracked cylinder head if you have the 4d56 diesel (malimit na problema ito, apart from loose compression and blowby).

    kung nagbabawas lng ng tubig at hindi naman humahalo sa langis, baka may butas lng radiatior mo. o kaya may hairline crack yung daanan ng tubig sa engine

    OT dito dahil Honda topic dapat hehe.

    Will run tests this friday dahil wala akong pasok. Nagyon eh idle start muna, yung isang car muna ang gamit.

    air, feel ko eh may hairline leak dun sa ibabaw ng radiator....dun sa bandang baba nung radiator cap. wala pa gano budget kaya sabi nung isang tsikoteer eh apply ko muna daw ng sealant.....anong selanat kaya maganda dito? advise kasi sakin eh bulldog radiator sealant daw....may maganda bang sealant bukod dun? 3 mos. daw tumagal yung selanat na yun tapos tapal ulit...

    Kapatid, Don't panic, kung natutuyuan ka ng tubig, it could be your radiator only that is leaking or baka yung hoses mo may leak. Try to check pag naka park ka kung may tumatagas na tubig o coolant, pag parang may halong itim o brownish na kulay, yun pwedeng galing sa engine mo- headgasket but for normal driving bihirang mangyayari yan, the most common problem pag nag overheat ang sasakyan is insufficient cooling which is dapat trabaho ng radiator at mga fan.

Cylinder Head Gasket???
