i'm thinking of getting a circa 2001-2005 H-CRV. matic o manual will do. however, guys i have been talking to is discouraging me dahil ka-lakas daw lumaklak ito ng gasolina. is this true? mga ilang kms/liter ba ang manual nya on city driving? tsaka mga ilang kms/liter ba ang matic nya on city driving too?
Wag ka lang lalagpas past 2.5K - 3K RPM. oks ka na. driving style lang yan IMO medyo mahina yung CRV sa arangkada you'd have to push the gas pedal to accelerate.
hmmm. reasonable yung consumption ng MT ah, based on miko's experience.
Tapos sya na lang gagamit ng lancer ko. also considering a Crosswind, pero i have no experience in maintaining a diesel-fed vehicle.
meron rumors na may SUV version nung d-max ala Fortuner or Gwagon :D
pero pag no choice CR-V na lang. Ayaw mo jazz? masyado maliit pero may balita lalabas 1.5vtec :D
As for the CR-V I think 7km/L is ok for a 2.0L engine. Common kase yung complaints na malakas sa gas yung cr-v kase probably most buyers came from driving a 1.6L sedan tapos nung nagshift sa 2.0 nagulat sa fuel mileage.
Added to that, madami bumili ng cr-v so you get to hear a lot of feed back about the perceived high fuel consumption.
I bet the other 2.0 mini suvs halos ganun din consumption (except for the lightweight 2.0 Rav4 which averages around 8-9km/L city driving)

Sup/Kimps: mga kelan estimate labas nun?
sup: maliit masyado jazz (you should see me in person, baka di na ako makalabas dyan.... hehehehehe.) If ever i'll get one smaller car, i'll retain my lancer, and my wife gets the jazz. hehehehe.
Not sure kung kelan ilalabas yung isuzu pickup based SUV though.
sayang limited lang sa isuzu and cr-v yung choices mo andyan pa naman upcoming Toyota Fortuner :D
