February 20th, 2010 11:48 AM #1my car is newly overhauled.everything seems to be perfect except with my idle. paataas baba from 1000-1500.1500 when idles. 1000 when aircon is on. According to my mechanic, there is somsthing wrong with my computer box since for efi,computer box will automatically controls the idle of the car. any comment? can you recommend ecu repair shops near las pinas. thanks in advance...

February 20th, 2010 04:54 PM #2pa second opinion nyo muna sir sa iba mechanic,para sure kayo,baka kailangan lang linisin ang throttle nyan kaya paiba iba ang idle.

February 20th, 2010 07:21 PM #3nalinis na servo nito bro actually nagtry din mechanic to replace like small part ng servo ung parang hugis letter L.. pero ganun pa rin. any more comments.
to give you more idea. isipin mo na lng yung gas pedal na parang may umaapak kaya minsan tumataas yung idle at bumababa, umaabot siya ng 3000 sa idle. weird.

parang malabo na computer box ang problema. the only way para maging problema yung comp box ay:
1. programmable ECU na nareset or mali setting
2. walang gasolina na pumapasok
3. walang korente pumapasok
yung 2 and 3, hindi ka start. napalinis na ba yung air intake control valve? if yes pinalitan ba yung gasket, kasi baka may air leak lang kaya ganyan. wag ka maniwala sa mechanic kung yan analysis niya. malabo yun!

February 21st, 2010 02:54 PM #5sir archie yung air intake control valve ba yun ba yung servo? sorry medyo bago po ako sa honda.kasi napalinis ko na servo.pero maalala ko pinalitan kasi yung gasket ng servo bale ginawa na lang nung mechanic.ok lang ba yun?saka pansin ko yung ginawang gasket.isa lang ang butas yung malaki lang e sa servo may mga malilit din na butas.possible ba na yun problema?may nabibili ba na gasket ng servo? thnaks po sa replies

February 22nd, 2010 11:41 AM #6honda uses aicv and not servos. try replacing this 1st. this is the one that controls the idle. kaya mataas yung setting ng mechanic mo, nagdi-dip yan pag naka-a/c ka at namamatay. kaya tinaasan nya.

kung yung gasket trace niya sa pinagpalitan, ok lang yun. pero if the old gasket has more than one hole tapos hindi niya cut out yun, that might cause problems but im not sure.
if you seen how it was put back together, try taking it off and see if there are holes on the AICV that connect to the TB na natakpan. that might be your culprit.
ganyan din nangyari sa oto ko dati (civic 2000). parang humihinga yung oto kung idle. hehe. i got the original gasket and cleaned it with carb cleaner, nawala yung problem.

dinala ko sa auto electrician, check nya yung servo at pinalitan ng gasket. carton nga lang nilagay niya.. (nido) kasi nakita niya may gasket maker na nakalagay.. bumabara daw or natatakluban yung mga sensor. tapos check nya din computer box, na deteck niya na hindi daw match ang computer box sa servo ko. inadjust na lang yung cable.. option ko daw is kung bibili ako ng servo (expensive) but now my iddle is good... 150 pesos lang siningil sa akin ng mekaniko.. sa Honda san Pablo nag gagawa din siya pero may talyer siya, pinapatawag lang siya ng honda kapag may mga problem doon na hindi nila kaya ng solusyon. san pablo laguna siya.. medyo malayu nga lang sayo sir
