disadvantage? faulty brakes due to improper/faulty installation. advantage? none if your drumbrakes do the job for you, no need for a conversion. just a waste of money.

may i ask for what purpose the conversion is for?

aejay17 actually my only purpose of the conversion is pamporma lang. no other else. so basta maayos lang pagkalagay then no disadvantages... anyways thanks for the replies...

    Hello Jun,

In my opinion meron advantage ang disk brake kesa drum brake. One is that you have better gripping power because is has bigger precise brake contact surface.

You will feel the big difference when your are braking on wet weather, Even though ang rear brakes are secondary brakes that actual meron actuation lag sa front, it has a significant effect. That is why in performance cars, they use all disk brake.

BUT if you will only use you car on on cruising and everyday drive...the stock drum is already ok. But if you have the chance to feel how a good grip brakes,
go for the disk. Also buy the original nissin pad...be sure that the disk brakes set is OEM , specifically made for your model car.

    Happy Motoring...
