Very true - it's not just the looks that matter in a car. The FD is a better car overall than the EK in most aspects.

Not all not good-looking cars are bad. Case in point is the Subaru Forester. It will not win beauty contests but it wins in function over form and overall capability. The same goes for the old Land Rovers and the boring Camrys.

However, for some (specially females) looks matter more.

Mabigat nga tingnan but tanong ngayon - "Is your current car any faster/quicker than a Civic FD?"

nakapagdecide ako na wag na bumili ng EK nung hinatid ako ng tropa ko sa pasay.

Potek namamatay yung makina niya (parang may nagna-knock or pre-ignite) habang naka-80 kami sa edsa hahahaha. iniistart niya nalang ulit habang nagku-cruise kami.

Isipin mo kung gaano kadami ang EK sa Pilipinas, ganun na din kadami ang pugak pugak na EK.

Hindi ako bibili ng hindi stock at hindi proven na 1st owned haha

The Civic FB tried hard to be like the Corolla. Despite not as good, some say, in handling like the EK or FD, the FB is a very good daily cruiser.

I know someone here who drove an FB 1.8L to 200+ kmh on open stretches and the car obliged with no hesitation.

Huwag mo tanungin si ninja about tastes or hilig, baka biglang magkuwento yan.

Kung same kotse, nasa driver yan.

Kung usapang Wigo or Mirage laban sa Civic or Mazda3, di na pinag-iisipan yun.

Fastest FWD time attack car in the world is a Civic FB Si. Obviously built engine and all that, but goes to show na the platform and suspension layout is capable enough.
