Pasingit na rin mga sir hehe, Civic SiR or Civic FD all stock po ang laman ng engine bay, ano po ba mas better pati in terms of fuel consumption? naguguluhan din kasi ako sa mga nagsasabi saken na matakaw daw po talaga ang fd 1.8.

matakaw din SIR. halos pareho lang yan.

FD ka na. Unless sobrang sariwa nung SIR tapos talo niya price nung FD.

    + 1

Sama mo na rin ung mga tear and wear parts ng 20 years old car (SiR) compare to 10 years old car (FD).

Pero kung pang daily with weekend out of town, sa FD ako.

Yep, R20 yung Civic FB 2.0L, same as the CRV 2.0L FWD 4th and 5th gen.

If you want a more affordable car with the K20 engine, the Civic ES (eagle eye) had the 2.0L model released in 2004-2005 and the Accord 7th gen 2.0L 2003-2007.

9-12 kml pag highway

This is a good read explaining the design of the R20A:

Honda R20A 2.0l SOHC i-VTEC Engine for the new CR-V

Mentioned nga yung engine mount issue. Designed for lower NVH kasi kaya malamang mas malambot talaga sya sa conventional engine mount.

Both the FD with K20 and FB with R20 are fully capable of doing 12 km/L on open highways even when cruising at 100 kmh. These cars are lighter than my 2.0L crossovers which can do 12 km/L on open highways when doing between 80 to 100 kmh. Just keep the revs at 2k rpm or below.

kung itsura lang, EK din ako. But i like the FD exterior as well, more than the FB.
