    Wow, its quite complicated. A lot of things to remove including aircon knob control linkage under the dasboard. You really want to DIY?

    The front panel where the car stereo is mounted is the whole assembly so you have to be extra careful not the ruin the panel with scratches.

    sir do you have the new HU already? or bibili pa lang?

    kung bibili pa lang, let the installers take care of that na lang. thye should know what to do with that.

    kung DIY, i would not recommend this kasi pwede mo madamage mo lang if ever have shop experts na lang to take care of it.

    Pwede i-DIY pero medyo messy.

    In short, this is how it goes on a Jazz:
    First you have to dismantle the aircon knob assembly, then remove the glovebox's lower tray. From there, you will have to wrench out a couple of bolts and some screws, I think. Once dismantled, the whole center console should loosen.

    On a City, the process is very similar. A competent installer will know how to do it.
