    Hi,

I'm getting a Honda Jazz and was wondering if it's worth getting the alarm from the casa which costs P7,000?..

It's an upgrade for the keyless entry like the image below. If I get it from a 3rd party vendor would they be able to hook the alarm up to the keyless entry controller? TIA!

If you fear the warranty, go for it. It doesn't really offer anything exceptional from mid-level and upmarket aftermarket alarms.

You can look for piggyback security systems that use your standard keyless entry transmitter but they're not that easy to find.

Personally, I'd just get a good aftermarket alarm and have it installed by a competent installer.

Poblema walang shock protection ang OEM alarm. An aftermarket solution will be better, kaso nga lang may extra remote since di sya maintegrate sa key mo.

i purchased my code alarm for my 1.3 at the casa honda marikina, i got it for 6,500.

yung OEM na alarm sa 1.5 wala atang shock sensor, forced entry alarm lang ata yun. shock protection, pag naalog yung vehicle mag-aalarm siya depende sa sensitivity nakaset.

got my alarm from honda alabang for 4900, upon purchase of my jazz... kaya may 10% discount ako.... actual price ng alarm is less than 5500 at HCMI...
so far okay naman, included yung chirping when you lock/unlock dors and shock sensor...
pag i-try mong ibagsak ng malakas yung door handle, ma-absorb ng shock tapos mag alarm..

tama si RC-V basics lang yung sa oem ng 1.5 for jazz...

depende nga if you want to keep your electrical warranty...

Anything from casa (accessories) is NOT worth it.

marami ng third party alarm na pwede i-integrate sa OEM alarm mo, so isang remote pa rin ang gagamitin mo...

imho, this kind of alarm would cost the same outside the casa, so by all means, its worth it. hindi pa mawawala warranty mo. wala pang nakalungayngay na separate remote sa bulsa mo if ever.

but if you would want something simplier, you can get something outside of the casa for as low as 1,900. hindi nga lang integrated yung controls sa key.

the problem with this type is if you lost or destroyed the key, kasama na din yung alarm mo.

its all on you bro... i have already stated the pros and cons of it.

grabe naman sa HQA quote nila for my security upgrade (keyless entry etc) is P7,500 for an old City. Mas mahal pa. Nung itanong ko ang difference sa existing alarm e may shock at immobilizer na daw.

Yung me shock-key less-immobilizer nakuha ko dito sa tsikot e 2,200 lang home install pa para sa Mazda ko.

    Parang hi-way robbery sa CASA.

I've decided to go ahead and get the casa alarm for 7k. I was told by the SA that it has shock protection. I really just wanted the integrated key alarm and didn't want to void the warranty. Next up... RIMS!

    Thank you for the replies!

    jayeatworld,
hinay hinay lang, try mo sa iba kung magkano, baka may mas-mura pang casa na nagooffer with the same item for a lower price. peace of advice lang. ;)
