i wonder kung pagaganahin yung trunk opener with this kind of key.. parang risky when it open (may mechanism bang added to push it up?).... or should i say nonesense ito kasi when we unlock the doors sabay naman mag-unlock yung likod for jazz.

yung mas mahal code alarm, aside from the siren may mga features siya like, shock sensor, auto lock when ignition on, auto kill ignition, etc.

imho, this kind of alarm would cost the same outside the casa, so by all means, its worth it. hindi pa mawawala warranty mo. wala pang nakalungayngay na separate remote sa bulsa mo if ever.

but if you would want something simplier, you can get something outside of the casa for as low as 1,900. hindi nga lang integrated yung controls sa key.

the problem with this type is if you lost or destroyed the key, kasama na din yung alarm mo.

its all on you bro... i have already stated the pros and cons of it.

grabe naman sa HQA quote nila for my security upgrade (keyless entry etc) is P7,500 for an old City. Mas mahal pa. Nung itanong ko ang difference sa existing alarm e may shock at immobilizer na daw.

Yung me shock-key less-immobilizer nakuha ko dito sa tsikot e 2,200 lang home install pa para sa Mazda ko.

    Parang hi-way robbery sa CASA.

I've decided to go ahead and get the casa alarm for 7k. I was told by the SA that it has shock protection. I really just wanted the integrated key alarm and didn't want to void the warranty. Next up... RIMS!

    Thank you for the replies!

    jayeatworld,
hinay hinay lang, try mo sa iba kung magkano, baka may mas-mura pang casa na nagooffer with the same item for a lower price. peace of advice lang. ;)

*jayeatworld, tama sa kideex.. hehehe.. hinay hinay lang.. you can save a few bucks to buy other accessories...

I only bought electrical stuffs from CASA(alarm at backup sensor), yung iba sa labas na.. yoko lang ma void ung electrical warranty... nga pala hinde kasama ung trunk opener na button...

same lang yun sa ordinary key ng honda.. integrated na kasi... so yung lock at unlock lang.. parang meron isang tsikoteers na nakausap ko.. nadugas ata siya ng pasig.. sabi honda approved alarm daw kaso may isa pa siyang remote.. which is hassle...

i think walang difference. pwede ilagay din sa 1.5. i think pwede naman siya ilagay to any vehicle.

One good thing about OEM alarms is that, there's practically no wire splicing involved... everything's plug & play. That said, it is possible that the wire harness where the alarm will connect to may be different between the 1.3 and 1.5, enough so that they cannot be interchanged without wire splicing. This could be the reason why OEM alarms are model-specific.

the problem is 1.3 doesnt have oem alarm only the 1.5 oem (no shock sensor cmmiw) has one. the brand that the casa is providing is code alarm (universal alarm).

    *kideex

my spare key doesnt have remote lock/unlock button. i could use it to drive the vehicle w/o any error on my dash.

    *jhay22

gamit ko spare key na walang lock/unlock button plain car key lang. tapos yung remote ng code alarm and dala ko. bali hindi siya integrated. hindi na ako nagtanong kung pwede iintegrate.

will provide pics later regarding the alarm & keys.

*kideex, taga south ka ba? at sino si stephanie? hahaha..SA mo? ***y ba yun?
btw, you have 2 keys both with buttons, parang lugi ako.. hehehe
spare key ko doesn't have lock/unlock buttons eh...

yup, have the same features as rc-v alarm... chirping upon locks/unlocs, auto lock upon start, auto unlock upon kill... with shock, pero baka hinde ko na pataasan yung sensitivity.... baka mainis lang ako later on... basta oks na yun pag may binasag at force entry mag-aalarm...

*RC-V, ah hinde pala nakaintegrate yung sayo.. integrated yung akin eh... kaya walang extra remote... yung main key ko yung gamit ko... basta sabi nung taga alabang sa planta sila umoorder eh... kaya not sure which brand...

i think okay yung honda alabang parts.. hahaha walang mga patong kesa sa ibang CASA hahaha!!!

hehehe... school mate ko yun. she's not a SA... afaik sa HRD siya. don't know kung ***y pa rin. hehehe. ask ko muna sa makati kung magkano baka parehas lang. south din ako...dasmarinas cavite. Teka parang naguluhan na ko... yung spare key mo ba ang inintegrate sa remote ng code alarm? so yung spare key that has no buttons before, mayroon na ngayon buttons which is from the code alarm?
