July 17th, 2009 11:11 AM #11sino kaya malapit sa location ko na pwede humiraman sir? ilocos sur po ako e, kung my kakilala po kayong tsikoteers na medyo malapit, patulong naman po akong maaproach sila.. ang dami ko kasing question in mind, ehehe.. about sa sasakyan.. so far, mag 2 2mos pa sakin ung car, as of now, wala po akong napapansin na problem on my car, as in very reliable po sakin.. i use the car everyday, about 10km lang naman.. house to office, balikan na un.. about 70km/hr ung top ko then ginamit ko siya pumuntang cavite about 160 and then baguio 130, so far so good naman.. but i don't really know later.. so, i just want to be ready then.. when i reach that 80thou km na mileage sir, kahit ok pa siya, why do i need to change my belt? my water pump? and as well as the other, yung mga oil, naiintindihan ko na yun on why do i change tas sa mga pad, ang medyo mababa lang yung knowledge ko is about the water pump and the timing belt.. ayon po.. and also po sa air filter pala, naka simota po kasi yun, panu po ba yung tamang paglinis nun? at merong specified mileage naman po ba dun na kailangang magpalit na, i mean yung interval of change if there is.. TIA mga sir, Godbless us all!

about the simota air filter, hindi ko masyadong alam iyan kasi bone stock lang mga ride namin when it comes to their engines
dito sa tsikot may sub thread din ang mga ilocano bro. maybe you should check w/ them also

July 19th, 2009 10:09 AM #16mga sir, galing akong honda cars pangasinan kahapon.. nag pa qoute ako ng price.. eto naman yung sinabi nilang pms sa 80k mileage..
engine oil = 808 mineral 1390 semi 2464 fully
oil filter = 360
d/p washer = 27
timing belt = 1455
tensioner bearing = 2255
fuel filter = 1900
spark plug = 548
aircleaner = 760
labor = 2500

usual na yan sa 80K PMS sa honda...yun sa akin when i got my car 2nd hand, i ask the previous owner about the timing belt. meron siya sinabi sa akin na sa 240K kms ang expected change ng timing belt...so, hindi ko muna yun ginalaw...
yun engine oil, mamili ka na ng gusto mo--whether regular or FULLYsynthetic..depende na sa budget mo yan. yun sa coolant, bantayan mo na lang yun reservoir kung nababawasan, meron yan "minimum" at "maximum" ...be sure that the coolant level stays at "maximum" or between "minimum" and "maximum". by the way, tingnan mo rin yun radiator cap mo kung okay pa...
if you will have your PMS at honda casa, keep the documents on the maintenance work done on your car...meron dun record ng kilometer reading para maging guide mo when your next PMS schedule...
by the way, pag nagpa PMS ka sa casa, meron yan over-all check-up na gagawin. they will inform you what other repair that maybe necessary. these possible repairs will be classified as to priority (in consideration of safety). you can ask them for a quote as to how much yun priority 1 repairs would cost. kung meron ka budget, you can decide to have the priority 1 repairs done sa casa. if you dont have a tight budget, you may opt to have those priority 1 repairs done by your pinagkakatiwalaang mechanic/service shop. sympre, kung sa mechnaic mo, you will choose whether to use OEM or replacement parts...oir you can buy the OEM parts that you can afford at the casa and have it installed by your pinagkakatiwalaang mechanic/service shop.
this is one way you can have your car maintained...take note of the options available to you---have the identified priority 1 repairs done by casa or your pinagkakatiwalaang mechanic; OEM or replacement parts; regular or fully synthetic oil, etc...
