S - actually means Sequential Shift Mode

Yep, very useful kapag uphill/downhill because you can control kung saan gear lang yung gusto mo, same with overtaking, mas mahahatak mo siya then shift whenever you feel like shifting. Although di lang siya limited sa mga yan, you can use S mode kung kelan mo gusto.

And in S mode, the car will not shift automatically, you have to use the paddle shifters. I have read this in the car manual. And there is a required speed for a specific gear, magbiblink yung indicator if your speed is not enough for that gear. Another is, kapag nag full stop ka, automatic na siya babalik to 1st gear, you do not have to shift it backwards.

Another info, from a full stop in S Mode, you can start driving the car in 2nd gear.

Lahat to based lang sa nabasa ko sa car manual and natry ko na din sa City ko.

Ako lang ba gumagamit ng L pag uphill or downhill?

I've read somewhere na parang primera ang L (hatak) na kelangan mo sa uphill and you need that engine break naman pag downhill para di lahat sa breakpad?

Yung S minsan ko lang gamitin, sa overtake lang especially pag alanganin overtake ko.

I've never needed the L uphill. Normally S lang sapat na kahit full load at matarik. I only use L pag downhill sa bundok tapos medyo mabagal yun nasa unahan at pag di kinaya ng S.

Nung uphill sa baguio i tried using S + paddles, para ka nga naka manual.

Downhill naka D lang ako then paddle for downshifting.

City driving always on D lang.

The problem im encountering is when starting the engine in the morning which twiced happened made a squeeking sound and i repeated starting it over and over and it keeps making that sound and not starting? Then after it starts.. anybody encountered this problem?

A week old pa lang, for peace of mind bring it back to your dealer and have it checked.

Diba standard na kasama na EWD and set of tools sa trunk kapag bumili new car? check ko kasi kanina sa City ko spare tire lang and jack lang nasa trunk. Pwede ba ako humingi ng tools and EWD?

Tools included is tire wrench and yung steel to raise the jack other than that wala na.
