Hello po. Question po

I have a 2016 City VX, every now and then nagkakaron ng corrosion sa contacts ng battery (which causes the car not to start). pinacheck na namin sa casa (alabang) before, nilinis lang nila then if maulit daw, ibalik para macheck kung may ibang problem. Since the problem is still recurring, pinacheck ulet namin sa casa kasabay na ng PMS. WALA NAMAN DAW PROBLEMA YUNG BATTERY. (nagcocorrode nga, walang problema? sauce.)

Baka meron po sa inyong may alam what causes it, and how to fix it. Pasok pa naman sa warranty ng battery so pinapapalitan namin kaso sabi ni hubby feeling niya ayaw palitan (and this is honda alabang kasi, and i've read negative comments for this particular branch, so baka nga). Or baka may masusuggest kayong ibang Honda service center na better service na makakatulong samin.

If your car has a radio security feature that the battery must not be remove in order to function and your car to run. And your dealer is not willing to replace it even under warranty. Try to other CASA, and ask their SA, that you wish to replace your battery with a new one that you will buy it outside CASA.

older mechanics would bypass the real problem by:
1. thoroughly cleaning the battery terminals and cable clamps; and
2. wrapping some lead plate around the battery terminals, to make them slightly fatter and tighter to the clamps. lead does not usually corrode under these conditions.

i don't know about the others, but i have never had your problem in any of our cars. but then, we use maintenance-free batteries...

and yes.. acid tends to leak in defective batteries...
does casa answer battery warranty, or does the battery company do this..? perhaps you should talk to the battery company..? what does the battery warranty say, po?

Cns, nakuha mo na tsikot mo? Nakuha ko na un sakin kahapon. Hindi nila naperfect un alignment pero ok na din naman. Pati un paint may mga uneven surface. Pinapabalik sakin nun SA kaso tatagal nanaman sa casa e. Mas ok paint job ng honda dasmariñas for me.

Just got my car, 2 weeks downtime din.

Just would like to ask, prior receiving dun mo ba napansin na sablay alignment? or pag uwi mo na?

plainview lang ginawa ko kanina, so far okay naman alignment and as for the paint (replaced front bumper / repaint rear bumper and 2 panels ng fender) mukhang kuha naman.

baka bukas ng umaga ko iinspect thoroughly, sana nga okay talaga.

Nagpakabit ako silver eurpoas, same mounting nilagay as the OEM horns langya ang lakas lalo sa loob!

BTW

may 4 Km din inandar nung ODO and my gas is empty! 0 range!
(matinding test drive? nag AC pa ata ng todo kaya ubos gas)

gladly naibalik LTO bolts sa new bumper.

buti umabot ako sa Petron na katabi nila.

dahil ba almost empty fuel?

Kalas old, kabit new and forget. pwede mo rin i-trade in ung luma. P300 yata ang offer ng motolite.

Had my battery remove myself, not to replace but to recharge the old batt and wala naman kailangan na dapat gawin prior to that. I also tried na habang "on" ang engine I was able to remove the stock battery and replace it with a drain one, for recharging. Careful lang not to (accidentally) short the terminals.

Napansin ko agad nun parelease na un sa paint and un sa alignment. Un pa isang di okay, un plate ko nabaliko siguro nahigpitan ng husto pagkakabalik. Ako din nakailaw na un gas icon pagkakauha mga 4 o 5 bars pa nun iniwan ko sa kanila.

Warranty booklet di napirmahan, un reminder ng next pms hindi rin pinalitan. Tapos nun pinakita nya sakin un kotse pala, dinedescribe nya rear bumper eh front bumper un napalitan. Wala sa wisyo un SA dun.

React lang ako sir. Almost same experince tayo, sa Honda Kalookan naman ako.

Sabi ng SA ko over the phone, "Ok, sir ang pagkaka-repair ng auto nyo." Pero sa loob-loob ko, hindi naman repair pinagawa ko kung di replace ng front bumper and headlight. At yung 'reminder sticker' yung pinalit eh yun din ang date, sa halip na next PMS ko is by May 2016, November 2015 ulit.

Tapos yung last na PMS ko naman sa Honda Cars Bulacan, wala ring pirma yung warranty booklet pati yung 'reminder sticker' sa loob ng windshield wala na rin.

Kaya natawa ako sa comment mo, hehe! Next na PMS, alam na natin mga dapat idagdag sa checklist natin. Mukhan shortcut na ang mga casa ngayon eh, wala ng Quality Control.

Mga sir, not sure if parang di gumagana un rear window demister/defogger ko. Dati naman pag may tubig, parang natatanggal nya. Un mga brown lines nagstart mag evaporate un tubig sa likod pero kanina hindi nya natanggal un tubig ulan. Natuyo nalang ng hangin.



Tnry ko itest pag uwi ko, binasa ko ulit un window and bukas nun rear defogger hindi padin gumana. Or normal lang ba un? Dahil hindi sya hamog or something?

Use dental floss, best to do it while the car is still new otherwise it might leave a mark.
