2014 Honda City (Gen 4)

Hi guys, I'm still contemplating between the 2014 Mazda 3 (1.5) or the 2014 Honda City (VX). Anyway, can you guys recommend any Honda sales agents? Preferably Honda Pasig, Honda Greenhills, or Honda Makati.

Yan din dati ang pinagpipilian ko sir Jose, pero mas pinili ko si City VX, sobrang gusto ko yung looks ng Mazda 3 pero i feel under power ung 1.5 engine para sa weight nya (atleast for me), inisip ko din na 2.0 na lang ang kunin kaso lagpas 1m mark na. Kahit i stretch ko ung budget ko mahihirapan ako magbayad. Pero if pasok sa budget ko ung Mazda 3 2.0 un ang kukunin ko.

Difference is less than 68T if you factor in Yojin 3 of Mazda.

Follow up question lang sa may unit na, ung spare key ba same lang sa main key? May spare key ba? Hehehe

Get the Mazda 3 if you can afford it. When you get inside a Honda City, it's like "Meh." But when you sit in a Mazda 3, the impression is "Now THIS is an automobile".

Unless you intend to race all the time, the Mazda 1.5 V is sufficient. You need to rev it to get more power, the engine was designed that way for fuel efficiency.

I know we're comparing oranges vs apples. Pero comparing their weight and engine displacement City will be more economical to drive than the Mazda 3 right? Or is the SkyActiv engine that good na halos same na lang sila ng fuel consumption?

Ako din if you're even thinking of getting either the honda city or mazda 3, i would be leaning more towards the mazda 3. I just don't like the grinning grille of the 3.

2-3 months waiting time ng mazda 3. low supply, high demand.

*phase1 nako nunf kumuha ako last june e walang ibang freebie aside dun sa basic. Pero ngayon alam ko may inoofer ung ibang honda ng 20k discount.

I was able to avail the 20k discount, kailangan mo lang mag bigay ng 5k for the reservation fee within the promo date which is deductable nman sa downpayment mo. Usually tuwing weekend daw may ganun, pero not every weekend, minsanan lang din.

Wala masyadong freebies pero atleast pinapili ako kung ano gusto kong CS ending number.

Nung tumingin ako ng unit sabi sakin ng Agent sayang daw may promo daw sila a week before hindi ko daw naabutan. Pero sabi nya itetext nya ako agad pagnagka promo ulit, after 1 week nagtext nga meron ulit 20k discount, since decided na tlga ako sa City nagpareserve na ako. I can pm my agent to you if you want.

Nagtanong din ako about sa spoiler, ang sabi sakin 8k daw sakanila. I dont know if same tayo ng tinutukoy na spoiler pero kasi ung test drive unit na nagamit ko for VX naka spoiler eh.

Hi Tsikoters - Di ba may Drive Mode ung CVT, para saan naman yung S? Low gear ba yun o Sports mode pag gusto mong humarurot, napapansin ko kasi nag eengine break ako pag nag switch ako from D to S?
