Ngayon ko lang napansin sa gm6 ko, pag nakalagay sa P yung gear then pag tinatapakan ko yung break...may tumutunog banda sa shifter. Sa mga naka matic...ganto rin ba sa inyo? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me if the FC reading in honda city is accurate? Drove from SM North up to Malolos, Bulacan yesterday, Econ button deactivated with speed varying from 80-110kph and got this result - 17.6 km/L. I'm having trouble attaching the image but will try to post it later. Thanks.
I think may +-2% threshold. What FC are you expecting after driving? Usuallly that is the average ng 2014-2016 City kung expressway such as NLEX. I have 15-17 km/l from Meyc to Visayas QC. More longer the distance much better accuracy. I believe accurate naman since the distance of my daily trip is 17km I usually consume 12 liters of gasoline (Php500 of 91 RON unleaded) in 5 days including the 5-7km of daily light to moderate traffic.

Thanks sir kabaong. Not really expecting anythin but this is the first time it crossed the 17km/l. The usual fc that my fiancee sees is between 12-15km/l.

I see. There are also testimonies from our fellow City'ers that they reached as high as 20km/l.
By the way sir, I assumed that you were also driving a CVT. I don't have info about the M/T.

Yes sir, drove the VX variant.

By the way, one question though and apologies if this has been asked previously. Can anyone share the significant difference between the recently released Honda City VX and the one released in 2014?

All I know is there's already a built in navigation. Any other notable difference?

    Hi Kabaong,

My best record was 22.5 km/liter

Mandaluyong - SM San Fernando - Mandaluyong (146 kilometers)

Full tank at Petron Edsa (near VRP) papunta - 5436 km odo
Full tank ulet pag balik - 5582 km odo

Uses Petron Blaza - Consumed around 6.47 liters (267 pesos)
Average speed is about 80-90 km/h
Average RMP is about 1500-2000 (abot 2000rpm pag mag over take)

Sir lakay, ino offer na free yung rustproof at full tint? Parang tempting yan ah.

Dumaan ako kanina mga sirs sa Honda BGC and they are giving 20k discount if bank PO and standard freebies only. Will try to ask other Honda dealers kung san pa may mas ok na deal hehe

sabi ng SA wag ko daw sabihin na bibigay nilang free dapat mismong SA mag alok nyan or ask mo SA mo kung pwede nilang free

As far as I know they also upgraded the HU (Navi & DVD). Also the front grille is chrome. But for sure sir, VX is a great choice of all the City line.

If she is planning a financing mas ok daw kung through bank, mas malaki matitipid compared sa inhouse financing.

Forgot to mention, I saw the avn upgrade for the 2014 VX in Honda BGC earlier, it costs 43k. Touch screen pa din with gps navi kaso may 2 knobs na sa baba for volume and another stuff. Comes with tv tuner daw and yung tv plus sa kanila is 5k haha

she can get the new Special Edition e cvt Ruby Red Pearl Color if she want may test drive at makita din yung limited edition sa MOA bukas. yung test drive nila sa mg show room ay puro yung vx.

Went to another dealer and noticed that the HFT controls in the steering wheel of 2014 VX are no longer there in the 2016 VX...

They are offering me the same 20k discount for the 2016 VX but the SA whispered to me that they still have few brand new stocks of 2014 VX and their giving 50k discount for that.

Since my sister doesn't really care in the year model, Now she's torn between the two since 2016 VX = Php 878k while the 2014 VX = Php 840k.

Which is the better choice between the two?

Kung plan nyo ibenta yan after several years, go for 2016. Re-sale value wise, bawi yang discount na makukuha nyo ngayon.

Given that walang issue sa 2016 huh.
