I'm torn between Modern Steel Metallic and Carnelian Red Pearl. I asked the lady sales agent about the CRP. Mostly babae daw kumukuha.

Im planning to get my own car but torn as to which one. The new City is one of the choices (along side Ecosport, Mirage GLS, Vios). Initially i wanted the VX model but since it's almost a 100k higher than the 1.5E CVT mejo napapaisip ako. Installment naman and kaya ng budget both pero shempre the practical in me's wondering if sobrang laki and worth it ba talaga yung difference ng dalawa? Haven't seen both in person siguro in the coming days pa.

+1 on the stereo. Ampangit talaga. Reminds me of stereo ng mga Sarao/Jeepney. And the instrument panel, very bare. I prefer the outgoing model's. Kung one model higher naman, that places you on Civic/Altis territory, so another dilemma.

true. when i first saw the radio i had to look twice kasi parang non-existent sya. had they retained the radio of the outgoing model ok na sana. pasok na pasok na. bakit nga kaya yun ang nilagay ng Honda sa E CVT?

malaking + sakin ung backup sensor ng VX pero yun nga im trying to justify (to myself) yung almost hundred thousand na difference nila. shempre hindi ganun kadali kumita ng pambayad. at the same time ayoko naman bumili lang ng kahit ano since i plan to use and own it for a looooooong time.

Follow-up question: Can the 2014 1.5 CVT City out run the 1.6 CVT Altis?

IMO, among your choices, city is on top (excluding ecosport since its on different category). regarding the price difference, ppanalo ka sa features ng VX pero if you are not after those things inside then the 1.5E is still better if you will compare it with the mirage and vios.

if you prefer MT the you can compare it with the ecosport (in terms of price and fesatures) but if you are looking for performance i will go for the city

Actually im really leaning towards City altho when EcoSport first came out sabi ko yun na ang The One. Unfortunately i find it a bit cramped and based sa reviews, mejo underpowered. The GLS naman i liked before it's cheaper considering TOTL na sya altho mas mababang makina. Most probably seeing both will make deciding easier for me since sa monthly installment 1k lang halos diff ng 1.5E and VX and both less than 15k yung computation ng bank sakin.

mababa pa ang maintenance cost ng honda. test drove new city VX and mazda 3 1.5 city pa din in terms of acceleration. knowing honda pricey pero sulit naman.
