I dont think a facelift will help them Pero I am not saying the City will outsell the Vios quite the contrary. But for the core audience of Honda which is the young pros I think they can capture it better than Toyota will with the Vios. The Vios can always be sold as a taxi so they always have that sale whatever happens.

Yup, this City will sell a lot but it can not really outsell the Vios. Sales of Vios is largely driven by taxi units and company fleet. Our company alone has more than 300 Vios, as Toyota can provide bigger discounts, cheaper to maintain, among others. Nevertheless, this City will capture a big share of sales outside the taxis and the fleets.

CVT is still offered in JDM. It has numerous advancements and refinements compared to the out going generation. Just imagine, DBW plus CVT, its gonna be sooo super efficient. The new Jazz is DBW, while im not sure if the city is also DBW na.

but still, 5AT is much better than the Jurassic 4AT transmission of other cars. the new CVT has a torque converter already.

Mas trip ko itsura nito kaysa sa bagong Jazz kase mas mahaba yung hood niya. Yung sa Jazz, halos wala ng front end -- talagang inurong paharap yung hood para lumuwang yung interior space.
