Is there a big difference in terms of fc AT vs MT model? getting one na very soon and am thinking which to get.

The family went for a vacation on Monday to Calatagan, Batangas. With the 2.0M/T, I was able to do 14km/l from Sta. Mesa to Calatagan. Back from Calatagan was able to manage 13km/l with heavy traffic in SLEX. Speed range from 100 to 120KM. I usually shift around 2000RPM.

Aside from having trouble shifting to 6th gear. The power is adequate. I have 5 passengers and quite a few luggage. I never encountered any sluggish performance. Also If I may add the cornering ability is great. Compared with my 2001 Civic. I think the CR-V is better in terms of handling .

FC ko kahapon is 14km/L, average city and highway. Encountered heavy traffic at Maharlika Highway bec. of so many Fiestahan there. From Batangas City to Lucena City, A 210km route.

With the 2.0 M/T I'm getting 14KM/L highway driving 100 to 120 km/hr. But on a heavy traffic I can manage only 10-12KM/L. The ODO reading is 3TKM, i'm expecting a little more improvement once it reach 5T.

I got the CR-V from Honda Shaw. The freebies are: car mat, seat cover, plate cover, umbrella and key chain . NO TINT

wait.... san ba based ang reading nyo, from the on board FC meter or you measure it the traditional way?

the on board always gives a higher FC yata, mas accurate yung traditional way of measurement

made a reservation for crv 2.0 a/t yesterday at honda dealer. cant wait till next month for the delivery. for the meantime just looking around for possible accessories.

for crv owners of 2.0 a/t, how is your fuel consumption? any problems so far? :drive1:

2.0 civic uses the old K series engine, so fuel consumption will not be great. only the 1.8 civic and 2.0 crv currently has the new R series engines.

Lucky you. I had to wait 2 months. :sigh: As for fuel consumption - well, it's not as 'hungry' as the first two generations, no problems naman so far, but it's only been a month, so.
If you don't mind my asking, what color did you get?

im wondering if any new crv owners tried changing their headlamp bulbs to hid? cause i read in the brochure that it has the projector type housing.

yes sir you can change your headlight to HID's... ganda ng cut off ng projectors minimal yun glare... change my headlights n foglight to HID's 6000k

offshore: what are the bulb sizes for the headlight and foglights? i was guessing that the low beam is the projector type and the high beam on a reflector type. :question:

Bro base lahat yan sa on board computer. I'll try yung old method.. Medyo mababa nga ngayon ang reading. I'm getting 13KM na lang.. I guess siguro kailangan ko nang mag pa change oil. Mag sisix months na kasi since I changed oil.

bro, does this 13KM FC is based sa city drive or hiway? and wat po engine? 2.0 or 2.4. we are planning to buy the new crv too... can anyone recomend an SA? kasi we are planning to buy two units but under different name, ung discount lng na binigay samin ng honda shaw is fleet discount under 1 comp name lang... and ang free items lng is floor mats and seat cover, wala man lng tint or lto registration... how bout u guys, wat mga free items nakuha nyo? slamat sa inputs! looking forward to your answers... kelangan na daw mag reserve this month para mahabol sa november batch na parating na CRV. btw, we are planning to get the 2.0 mainly because mas fuel efficient to sabi dito sa tsikot compared to 2.4.. may i ask wat ung average FC for city driving with heavy traffic. ilan pala ung fuel tank capacity ng crv? sorry daming tanong... thanks in advance!

just came from honda pasig and sabi ng SA 3 months daw ang wait list for the 4x4 CRV... im really considering getting a CRV but im not willing to wait for 3 months... Honda better do something about this otherwise they may start to loose potential sales specially that there are other options available...

to stay on topic, disappointed ako sa crv 4x4 na tinry ko sa casa dati, pag-start may nararamdaman agad ako engine vibrations. di naman ganyan sa mga gen1 n gen2 crv namin nung bago pa, kala mo pa nga di umaandar ang engine. what finally made me drop the crv from my choices was the cocky SA, kala mo anong premium suv ang bnebenta nya, pinapalabas pa na pinag-aagawan suv nila.

itong 3.0 v6 nga ng outlander na bigger engine, mas quiet pa, pero in fairness baka bad unit lang un.
