I was with Carlo during the test-drive. I actually think there's enough power in the R20 engine. Kaya lang, it's a high-revver, not a torquey engine like the older 2.0s.

It's got good initial response, and if you floor it, it actually gains strength near redline (kaya lang, ang gaspang ng sound... kinda like the Alto at full blast... ). It's just the gearing of the AT and the relatively low midrange torque that make it feel sluggish.

On the Macapagal run, the R20 reached 130 km/h in almost the same distance that the K24 4x4 did... pero mas torquey lang talaga ang K24. I'm really impressed with the R-series engines, I hope Honda gives them ATs that will better optimize their power (hint... they need lower first and second gears...)

Aside from having trouble shifting to 6th gear. The power is adequate. I have 5 passengers and quite a few luggage. I never encountered any sluggish performance. Also If I may add the cornering ability is great. Compared with my 2001 Civic. I think the CR-V is better in terms of handling .

Brod Sparkle Gray Pearl. Wala pa pong modifications, sagad sa expense eh .
I'm saving for a leatherette seats na lang muna. Ang pangit kasi nung free car seats ng Honda.

Last month though I treat the CR-V with a two step paint detailing to seal the paint finish. Glaze + 2 Layers of Carnauba Wax. I love the finish. Kaya kahit medyo naarawan. I don't worry much na magfade kagad ang kulay. I plan to wax it again after two months.

Same here bro, I'm planning for backing sensor, muffle tip, door visor, rear visor, side mirror cover & leatherette seat cover too.

The only problem with my CRV is that when im in xpressway at about 100-140kph, may smell pa din nang rubber tire. HCP alabang doesnt know how to remedy that kind of problem.

The 2.0. Newer block design, more economical engine series than the K. Smaller, too.

With the 2.0 M/T I'm getting 14KM/L highway driving 100 to 120 km/hr. But on a heavy traffic I can manage only 10-12KM/L. The ODO reading is 3TKM, i'm expecting a little more improvement once it reach 5T.

I got the CR-V from Honda Shaw. The freebies are: car mat, seat cover, plate cover, umbrella and key chain . NO TINT

I tried 140 and the handling is stil good. I believe the 2.0 can go 180 but haven't tried yet.

As I said before on my previous post. IMO the handling and cornering ability of the new cr-v is great. I think pa nga it's much better with my 2001 CIVIC.
