Hehe, akala ko wala ang Honda sa Motor Show? Bakit nagkaroon ng test unit?

Settled for the auto 4x2 Ruby Red, btw; and at 1.25M, I actually get a lot of value. Overshot my savings pa nga, so by year's end I might have enough for a sedan. Maybe a Camry.. Hehe.
ok ah, meron ka na new crv, meron ka pa savings para sa sedan by yearend.
why camry? honda na rin, all-new accord

estimated fuel consumption of crv: 9km city, 12km highway

it's a handbrake on the console for the M/T. but not the usual pull-up handbrake lever, it's some funky video-game throttle-style lever that feels good.

That is IF it reaches us by year's end. Anyway, I'd still have plenty to choose from sedans of that price range, tsaka tagal pa naman ng year's end eh...

It all just boils down to preference. Ako, I would've preferred the 4x4 version pero I just couldn't stand the beige interior. All my other cars have beige interior, and since I didn't really need a 4wd suv/cuv, I settled for the 4x2 and just opted to upgrade the foglights, added tweeters and I'll probably be changing the grille and wheels in the near future.
And, pragmatically speaking, not all SAs know what they're talking about. No offense.

went to the provincial launch of the new crv last night..overall i like it, nice interior and ok dash, exterior is better looking in the flesh..do not like the side profile though. a bit pricey for the 4x4 variant IMO..i'd consider the 4x2 a/t instead. some crappy phone pics i took..

salamat nga pala sa HCPI for the yummy dinner...sana marami pang launching ako maiinvite...konti nalang at pwede na akong maging honda fanboy :hungry: :hihihi:

    Honda CR-V 2.0L 4x2 A/T = 1.250M

    Subaru Forester 2.0L A/T 4x4 = 1.250M
    Ford Escape 2.3L 4x2 = 1.143M
    Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0L 4x4 M/T = 1.250M
    Kia Sorento 2.5L TX 4x4 M/T = 1.1M (?)
    Hyundai Tucson 2.0L 4x2 M/T = 990K (?)
    Mazda Tribute 2.3L 4x2 = 1.15M (?)

Yup, but I was referring to the 4x4 variant of the CRV vs the top of the line Rav4.

Yes, very true hehe! Kaso lang right now, most people planning to buy a new car in this segment will probably go for a CRV over the others kahit sobrang ok yung price.
