I wonder where did Honda put the parking brakes on the manual trans. variant, seeing that the Automatic trans. variant has foot operated parking brakes (placed where the clutch would be in a manual trans. variant)?

Honga ako rin eh... Although I AM crossing my fingers. I'm probably gonna get my unit by the end of the month (just saw it sa casa kanina) and I will be giving feedback once I get a thorough drive around the city. Settled for the auto 4x2 Ruby Red, btw; and at 1.25M, I actually get a lot of value. Overshot my savings pa nga, so by year's end I might have enough for a sedan. Maybe a Camry.. Hehe.

for 4x4 pearl white, add P15,000

in short, if u buy crv 4x2, u have to cost 1.25m + 40k plus insurance and 10k plus LTO
Mahal ang insurance (as always), sa labas nalang kunin kung pwede.

Prolly still on the floor. I drive a 300D m/t and the parking brake is also foot operated. It's just there on the left side. Hindi naman istorbo sa pagmamaneho.

F150 m/t variants also use a foot operated parking brake like their more popular a/t siblings.

    Hi Guys,

I have a SA friend and told me that during their familiarity test for Honda CRV yung 4x2 daw is matagtag. He also insisted if ever you have the money go for the 4x4 instead of 4x2.

Hindi yan totoo, siguro pinipilit kang bumili ng 4WD na sobrang mahal kasi majority of CRV buyers ay nga 2WD na,anyway its better na 2WD 5 speed A/T ang kunin mo...

Made in Thailand na pala 'to (CBU form).

So even if the front is still ugly, at least the build quality is much better (compared to local-made HCPI na older-gen CRV which still suffers from problems/defects)

Anyway, we should know more about it soon starting sa Motor Show.

Sobrang mahal?? I think sulit yung 1.450M cuz for only 200k more, you get the 2.4L engine, 4x4, steering wheel controls, leather interiors, HID, fog lamps, 6-disc changer, boot cover, rear park sensors, etc.

Of course most of these features are probably not necessary but I think ok na sya for the price difference especially if kaya ng budget.
