    Hi,

Just want to ask what is the typical temperature guage reading of your 2002 Honda CRV. Mine is at a bit lower sa mid level. Is this the typical reading? Also, how long does it take the radiator fan to turn on from cold to normal operating engine with a/c set to off? Observe ko kasi na 20mins di pa rin nag turn on yung radiator fan. At what temp ba magswitch-on yung radiator fan? Pero after driving about 20kms and check, radiator fan starts to turn on and off now. Pero just around 10 seconds lang yata ikot ng fan with 30 sec to 1 minute interval siguro and temperature reading is maintained just a bit mid level pa rin. Is this normal?

    Thanks,
    t_s_o_n_g

Without going into details, everything you described are normal.

The things like you temp reading is just ok...as to your question about the time your radiator fan engages that too is fine, your thermostat switch will determine if you radiator fan should engage or not.

If your temp reading goes higher than the usual reading then it's time to have your CRV checked.
